Amruta enters the house and finds everyone trying to get rid of cockroaches. Jahan thinks a pipe might have broken. Harsh reminds everyone about the importance of hygiene. Amruta feels that the situation is unusual. Ishika arrives and mentions that her house is in the same condition. Jahan suggests the cockroaches might be coming from her place. He then asks Amruta to sign some papers, saying he needs them for a pest control operation by the municipality. Amruta signs the papers, unaware that they are actually annulment papers. Ishika knows the truth and thinks to herself that Babita stole these papers from Jahan’s room. Priyanka is unhappy about the plan and tells Babita she didn’t want to do something so disgusting. Babita assures her that Amruta will sign without reading them.
Ishika asks Amruta to sign the papers, but Amruta hesitates, saying it’s Jahan’s house, not hers. She questions why she should sign. Meanwhile, Virat is looking for Amruta and tries calling her, but she doesn’t answer. He realizes that the papers are missing from the closet and worries that Amruta might sign them. He rushes to Bhavani’s house. Ishika pressures Amruta to sign, saying they won’t be able to fumigate her house otherwise. Jahan also urges Amruta to sign, but Amruta hesitates, insisting that she doesn’t live there anymore. Ishika and the other women try to convince her, but Amruta asks Jahan and Bhavani to sign first. Just as she is about to sign, Amruta tries to read the papers, but Ishika covers them with her hand. Virat arrives and distracts everyone by asking why there are so many cockroaches. Amruta tells him she’s coming, but he insists on talking right away. Amruta finally signs the papers, and Ishika quickly takes them and leaves.
Virat then hugs Amruta, who asks what’s wrong. He recalls a conversation with Nimrit, who advised him to talk to Amruta and understand their feelings for each other. Amruta asks if everything is okay, and Virat reassures her. They hug, and Virat thanks her. When Amruta asks why, he doesn’t answer and leaves.
Ishika shows Babita the signed papers, and Babita praises her for the job well done. Babita plans to put the papers in Virat’s closet. Ishika believes that now Priyanka will be in Virat’s life, and Amruta will be out. Babita returns to Virat’s room to place the papers, but Amruta catches her and confronts her, asking what she wants. Babita bluntly says she wants Amruta gone. Amruta accuses Babita of being willing to keep snakes around and letting others harm her son. Babita, confused, asks what she means. Amruta clarifies, saying Babita is risking her son’s life by supporting Priyanka.
Meanwhile, Virat stands outside the room, wondering if he should talk to Amruta. He decides against it and watches as Amruta falls asleep. He sneaks in and considers leaving a locket he bought for her. While there, he notices the papers with Amruta’s signature. He is shocked and hurt, wondering why she signed the annulment papers when she was so against it before. He recalls their memories together and feels conflicted.
Babita, on the other hand, is confident that Virat will now believe Amruta wants to end their marriage. She thinks this is their final move, and soon, Amruta will be out of Virat’s life for good.
