Jubilee Talkies Written Episode Update 14th August 2024: Shivangi’s Business Brainwave
The episode starts with Shivangi feeling worried. Raju says that these days, people are too busy, and they wouldn’t want to spend their Sunday watching a movie. Instead, they would prefer to go out and have fun. Shivangi suggests that they can have fun at the movie theater too. Suddenly, she gets an idea and says it’s a good one. Raju, feeling dismissive, tells her to do whatever she wants. Shivangi thanks him and shares her idea: “If we combine shopping, food, and entertainment all in one place, people will come!” Aai, surprised, asks what she’s thinking. Shivangi excitedly suggests that they open a shopping complex and name it “Sangam Mall.” She asks if it’s a good idea. Aai, confused, asks if she’s feeling okay, and Raju sarcastically asks if she’s drunk. Shivangi reminds them that Raju himself said a single-screen theater won’t work anymore. Raju agrees but points out that building a mall requires a lot of money. Shivangi acknowledges this. Aai adds that they are already in debt and would need a huge amount of money, almost like becoming a film heroine, to get that much. She advises Shivangi to think of something else.
Meanwhile, Goldie rushes to Tara, saying that the news is spreading fast: Ayaan has become a hero for saving his personal assistant’s life, and she has already announced his new action movie. Tara tells him to calm down. Goldie then asks if she has chosen the heroine for the movie yet. Tara replies that they will cast a new girl for the role. Goldie wonders if it will be Ira, but Tara firmly says no. Ira, on the other hand, gets a call from Ayaan but doesn’t answer. She reads the news and gets a message from him, thinking that he has played his cards well and that she will be the heroine in his movie.
Shivangi asks Sandy to introduce her to a financer. Sandy suggests she should apply for a bank loan instead. He jokingly offers to lend her the money himself, asking how much she needs. Shivangi says she wants money to start a business in Phaltan. Sandy explains that financers usually invest in movies, not shops. Frustrated, Shivangi prays to Bappa for help. Just then, she overhears an advertisement about a “money tank” and asks the person about it. The guy explains that it’s a way to raise funds for a business, and Shivangi feels hopeful.
Later, Shivangi visits Ayaan and accidentally spills some water on him. Ayaan, who had somewhere else to be, brushes it off and tells her it’s okay. He mentions that he knows she and Ira didn’t start on the right foot but insists that Ira is lovely, with a golden heart. He shares how Ira supported him before he became a superstar and how she was always there for him. Shivangi responds with a simple “good.” Ayaan then tells her that Ira has arrived and that they will talk later, so Shivangi leaves.
Ira arrives to meet Ayaan, and he surprises her with a sweet gesture, recreating their movie nights. Ira, dressed up for the occasion, feels underwhelmed and asks if that’s the surprise. She admits she thought he would announce her as the heroine in his next film since he had once promised that they would work together. Ayaan apologizes and says he did tell his mom, Tara, that he would do a movie for her. Ira then questions why Tara mentioned casting a new face and why Ayaan isn’t fighting for her. Upset, she leaves.
Goldie makes a comment about Dimple, saying that Tara still looks fit despite her age, which annoys Tara. She clarifies that people might be laughing at Dimple. Just then, Ayaan comes in and asks Tara about the movie announcement. Dimple offers him food, but Ayaan insists he told Ira she would be in the movie. Tara firmly says that she makes the business decisions and refuses to cast Ira. Ayaan stands his ground, saying he won’t do the movie without Ira, but Tara dismisses his demand, reminding him of the news surrounding Ira. Ayaan, frustrated, walks away, while Tara vows to ensure that no one casts Ira as the heroine.
Shivangi watches the money tank promo with interest. Meanwhile, Ayaan speaks to several directors, insisting they cast Ira, but they all refuse. Annoyed, Ayaan tells them he won’t do their movie and asks them to leave. Angrily, he finds Shivangi and asks for a script, but she has only written down her business plans on the paper. Ayaan, in his frustration, tears the papers and scolds her harshly.
