Jhanak Written Episode Update 11th August 2024: Anirudh Shocking Revelation to Rudra
The episode starts with Anirudh telling Arshi that he’s coming back. Arshi gets upset and reminds him that he came there for her, questioning what he’s doing away. Anirudh agrees, but she angrily ends the call and throws her phone. Shrishti sees this and asks what happened. Anirudh says he has to leave and asks to be informed when Jhanak test results come in. Rudra suggests that someone might have given Jhanak too many pills, as many people don’t want her to compete, and they’re plotting against her to get her disqualified. Anirudh agrees and appreciates Rudra efforts to help her. Rudra mentions that Brij is also against Jhanak and wants her banned, though he doesn’t know why. Anirudh remembers Brij and says there are many reasons for his behavior, but he will explain them later. He asks Rudra to guide Jhanak, as she is very talented, and Rudra agrees, expressing curiosity about why Brij dislikes Jhanak so much.
The host then announces that it’s a new day and they will find out who wins the dance competition. Only two contestants have reached the finals, but only one will move forward to compete against Arshi Mukherjee in the final round. She mentions that Arshi is a champion who always wins. Jhanak listens quietly. Ruchita recalls how Jhanak collapsed during the show and mentions that if it’s proven she took drugs, she could be banned, though the doctors have cleared her. The question now is whether Jhanak can win this round. Michael announces that the first contestant is not Jhanak but Pratiksha, followed by Jhanak Raina. Rudra applauds Jhanak, while Appu expresses a desire to meet Lalon. Anjana asks Choton to explain to Appu that she isn’t well. Bablu arrives, and they discuss Appu fever, suspecting it might be from an insect bite. Ruchita says she’ll call both contestants on stage after explaining the finale rules. Brij then declares that Jhanak won’t get a third chance, and fan votes won’t help her, as they won’t tolerate any mistakes in the finals. Everyone claps in agreement.
Meanwhile, Anjana and Bipasha argue, and Dadi and Dadu overhear them. Tanuja suggests that Appu might be planning to marry Lalon. Dadu tells Bablu to call the doctor, while Dadi wonders if Dr. Ghosh is at the clinic. Choton offers to call the doctor, but Bipasha suggests that Appu condition might be due to overeating, as she had too much food. Pratiksha performs, and Shrishti encourages her to do well and outshine Jhanak. Arshi says she’ll only know if she’s fine after performing on stage.
Arshi goes to prepare, and everyone applauds Pratiksha performance. Bablu mentions that Appu enjoys good food, so he always brings it for her. Dadu tells him to focus on Appu, while Appu insists on calling Lalon. Tanuja criticizes Appu for mentioning Lalon name, calling him a cheap guy. Anjana tries to calm Appu down, telling her to sleep, but Appu insists she’ll feel better if Lalon comes. Dadi questions why she needs him when they’re all there for her. Choton offers Appu a chocolate, reminding everyone that Lalon promised her one. Anjana is puzzled by the situation, but Bipasha suggests that Appu might be in love with Lalon, which she sees as proof that Appu isn’t mentally weak. Bablu gets angry at Bipasha, but she defends her statement, questioning why Appu is so attached to Lalon.
Ruchita then announces that Jhanak is about to perform. Jhanak takes the stage and dances to “Crazy Kiya Re,” impressing Anirudh and the audience. Rudra and the others clap for her, and Jhanak smiles. Ruchita praises Jhanak innovative fusion dance and says they’ll get feedback from the judges after a break.
Anirudh approaches Rudra, apologizing for calling him there and saying he wants to discuss Jhanak future. Rudra reveals his plan to get Jhanak professional dance training, believing that no one can stop her if she stays patient. He mentions that Jhanak lost her job due to participating in the dance show, but he’s trying to find her a new one. Anirudh thanks him and expresses his desire for Jhanak to be happy and safe. Rudra agrees, noting that Jhanak is innocent and trusts people easily, which worries him given Aditya interest in her. Anirudh acknowledges this and says that while Jhanak can take care of herself, people like Brijbhushan are a problem. Rudra asks if Anirudh knows Brijbhushan, noting that Brij plotted against Jhanak, tried to remove her from the show, and pretended not to know her. Rudra is curious why Brij is targeting Jhanak, especially since she mentioned taking just one day of training from him.
Anirudh hesitates but eventually trusts Rudra with the truth, revealing that Jhanak is actually Brijbhushan daughter. Rudra is shocked by the revelation.
