Jhanak 23rd Sept 2024 Written Episode Update: Anirudh-Jhanak’s Love Confession
The episode begins with Aditya pleading with the doctor to save Jhanak. The nurse reassures him, saying they’re trying their best and mentions that her husband was also upset. Aditya corrects her, saying he is just a relative, and asks her to arrange a ventilator. The nurse asks about Anirudh, but Aditya scolds her, insisting they focus on saving Jhanak.
Anirudh arrives in a hurry, saying he needs to see Jhanak. Aditya stops him, telling him that Jhanak is on a ventilator and that Anirudh could make things worse. He adds that Anirudh has been unlucky for her. Anirudh, desperate, promises he won’t meet her again once she’s fine. He just wants her to recover. Aditya tells him to stay away, but Anirudh manages to see Jhanak. The doctor warns that bringing anything from outside could cause an infection, but Anirudh insists the flower he’s brought will help heal her. He prays for her and tells Jhanak he loves her, believing she will recover. Aditya asks the doctor to take Jhanak inside. As they wheel her away, Anirudh shouts, “I love you, Jhanak.”
Meanwhile, Appu refuses to eat until Lalon returns, complaining that he married her and then left. Jhimli laughs at her, but Appu warns that she’ll tell Lalon about it. Jhimli and Anuradha urge her to eat, but Appu remains worried, not knowing if Lalon has eaten either. Just then, Kajal arrives with a tiffin. Anuradha encourages her to eat, reminding her of a promise to her mother. Kajal, feeling emotional, starts to cry. In the hospital, Anirudh continues declaring his love for Jhanak, and a woman nearby comments that Anirudh might lose his mind if anything happens to her. Aditya tries to stop the scene, but Anirudh, desperate, insists that Jhanak must recover.
Suddenly, the other doctor announces that Jhanak’s condition is improving—her pulse is getting better, and she no longer needs the ventilator. They move her to a regular room, and when she wakes up, Jhanak looks at Anirudh and says, “I love you, Sir ji.” Anirudh, overwhelmed with joy, cries and responds, “I love you too, Jhanak,” while holding her hand. Nearby, Appu introduces Kajal to everyone, saying she’s her friend. Kajal explains that her mother sent some food for everyone but insists she must leave soon. Appu tries to stop her, but Kajal says she has exam papers to check. Anuradha brings sweets, but Kajal is in a hurry to go before Lalon returns.
Lalon soon arrives and asks Kajal to stay a little longer, announcing that he has some big news. Jhimli teases him, saying he should have brought something for his bride. Lalon says he has something special and hands out chocolates to Appu as an apology. Appu forgives him, and they share a light moment, but Kajal, feeling emotional, quietly leaves. Anuradha notices and feels sad for her.
In another scene, Arshi has made up her mind to leave. Bipasha tells her that Shubh has arrived and suggests talking to him, but Arshi insists that she’s done with the situation. She feels betrayed and wants to move on. Shubh arrives and tries to comfort her, saying he understands her anger and promises to help get Anirudh out of the picture. Arshi, still upset, says she’s ready to file a complaint against Anirudh, shocking everyone. Shubh suggests that instead of filing a complaint, she should give Anirudh an ultimatum: either he moves abroad with her or she’ll leave him. He says this will pressure him to make a decision.
Arshi, doubtful, says it won’t make a difference, but Shubh reassures her that the family will back her up. Bipasha and Lal agree, though they admit that Anirudh doesn’t usually listen to them. Arshi blames Jhanak for all her problems, feeling that her life and career are falling apart because of her. She tells everyone that she doesn’t deserve this misery and feels abandoned, as her husband has left her for his girlfriend. She reveals that Anirudh called her, but she ignored him because she knew he was with Jhanak. Tanuja mentions that Jhanak now has a boyfriend, so why would Anirudh stay with her?
Despite everything, Arshi remains convinced that Anirudh is ready to let her go. She expresses her frustration, saying she doesn’t deserve this pain and doesn’t want to live this way anymore. Tanuja tries to reason with her, warning that if she leaves, Anirudh will only do what he wants. Arshi, determined, says she will talk to him once he returns. If Anirudh doesn’t commit, she’s ready to walk away from their relationship for good.
