Jhanak 22nd September 2024 Written Episode Update: Anirudh’s Heartfelt Prayer
The episode starts with Anirudh asking the driver to take him to the temple. The driver shares his own story, saying that his wife was in danger during childbirth, and he prayed for her. She got better, and he hopes Anirudh’s wife will too. Anirudh says he just wants his wife to be saved. The driver reassures him, saying that once his wife recovers, he should keep her close and never hurt her. He asks if they had a fight. Anirudh admits that his wife is a good person, and he regrets not telling her that he loves her.
The driver tries to comfort him as they reach the temple. Anirudh quickly goes to buy the items needed for the prayer, but the shopkeeper informs him that the temple is closing. Anirudh hurries to start the prayer, but the priest tells him to come back at 4 PM because it’s time for the deities to rest. Anirudh pleads, explaining that his family member is in the hospital fighting for their life, but the priest remains firm.
Meanwhile, Vinayak and Shrishti are discussing Anirudh. Arshi feels ignored by Anirudh and thinks he doesn’t love her anymore. Vinayak explains that Anirudh is helping Jhanak, and this all started after Arshi’s trip to Kashmir, where she insulted Urvashi and Jhanak. Vinayak says that Anirudh was forced into helping Jhanak and had to marry her, just as he himself couldn’t make a similar choice 24 years ago.
Back at the temple, Anirudh insists on performing the prayer, but the priest refuses. Anirudh becomes desperate, and the driver tries to help. The priest warns them not to break traditions, but Anirudh explains that his prayer is for his wife, the one who means everything to him. The priest asks if his wife is sick, and Anirudh confirms it. The priest finally agrees to let Anirudh do the prayer and asks him to take a blessed flower to his wife.
Anirudh prays for Jhanak, hoping for a miracle. Arshi, still unsure about her relationship with Anirudh, wonders if she should have gone with him to help Jhanak. Vinayak advises her to make a decision about her marriage and suggests she follow Anirudh. She agrees but needs time to decide.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, the doctor informs Aditya that Jhanak’s condition has not improved, and they can put her on a ventilator, but it might not help. Aditya, desperate to save her, offers to sign the papers on Anirudh’s behalf. The doctors discuss Jhanak’s case, and one mentions that her pulse is dropping, and there’s no sign of improvement.
As Anirudh makes his way back to the hospital, he clutches the blessed flower tightly, thinking about Jhanak and how much he loves her. The driver takes a different route to get there faster, while Aditya listens to the doctors and starts to cry. Anirudh continues to pray for Jhanak, hoping for a miracle.
