Jhanak 20th August 2024 Written Episode: Jhanak-Aditya’s Musical Bond
The episode starts with a lady asking Aditya to sing a song. Aditya hesitates, saying he isn’t good at singing, but she insists. Finally, he agrees but says he’ll lip-sync like he does in movies and asks for a partner. Shrishti says Aditya will call her, but Arshi thinks he’ll choose Jhanak. Aditya indeed asks Jhanak to join him. Anirudh feels sad, while Jhanak, thinking of Anirudh, says the song is dedicated to someone who understands her more than she understands herself. Aditya dedicates the song to Jhanak, making Anirudh even more upset. Arshi teases Anirudh, saying Jhanak is openly insulting him. Anirudh, confused, asks how he got involved in this. Arshi reminds him that he hurt her because of Jhanak, and he realizes why she keeps bringing it up.
Tanuja advises that respect comes with earning money, and living in a palace with your family is the goal. Bablu wishes he could achieve that, but Choton and Shubh start arguing. Shubh says he can’t stay in this house anymore.
Aditya and Jhanak perform a lip-sync duet on the song “Jaaneman Jaaneman,” and everyone applauds their performance. The lady compliments their singing and invites everyone to have snacks. Dadi expresses concern, while Shubh insists he can’t stay in the house if Lalon is there. Bablu tries to explain that being poor or rich doesn’t determine someone’s character. He taunts Lal, saying that if he had money, Lal would respect him more. Lal defends himself, saying he doesn’t want to be dragged into their issues. Bipasha intervenes, telling Bablu that he always gets scolded and that his parents expect him to give them his salary. Bablu reminds her that he was talking to his son, but she argues that Lal is her husband too.
Aditya tells Rudra that his producer wants to meet him for some work, mentioning that he’d like to do a dance video with him. Rudra thanks him, and Aditya reassures him that everything is clean and above board. Aditya wants Jhanak to meet the CEO to clear up any misunderstandings and ensure that no one influences the CEO’s decisions.
Meanwhile, Brij talks to the producer and CEO, complaining about Jhanak’s behavior during a show that led to his favorite student being banned. He asks the CEO to reconsider the decision, and the CEO says he will look into it.
Anjana, in a conversation with Lal, points out that it’s his responsibility to take care of his parents, reminding him that they raised and educated him. She expresses her disappointment that Lal hasn’t brought them any happiness, while Choton has fulfilled his duty as a son. She mentions that her husband and Choton have always supported the family, but Lal hasn’t done much for them.
Lal argues back, while Tanuja reflects on the family’s attempts to stay together. Choton adds that no one is truly happy, especially after Lalon’s recent actions. Tanuja, frustrated, says she would have disciplined her daughters if they acted like Appu, but Anjana hopes they will turn out well. Bablu then declares his decision, and Dadi insists that the family must stay together as long as she and her husband are alive. Shubh, however, finds it difficult to stay in the house, leading to more tension between him and Lal.
Later, Rudra approaches Jhanak and offers his support, saying she can consider him an elder brother and reach out to him whenever she needs help. Jhanak thanks him, and he blesses her before leaving. As she walks away, she accidentally bumps into Anirudh, dropping a plate of food. Anirudh, noticing his stained clothes, is annoyed. Jhanak apologizes, explaining that she didn’t see him, but Anirudh, frustrated, questions why she only seems to notice Aditya Kapoor and not him. This is where the episode ends, with Jhanak feeling bad for her mistake.
