Jhanak 19th August 2024 Written Episode: Jhanak-Aditya’s Party Adventure
Scene 1
The episode begins with Brij welcoming Shrishti to the party. Shrishti mentions that Anirudh took Arshi shopping, and they returned late. She asks about the new heroine who challenged Arshi and lost, wondering where she’ll go now and where her Guruji is. Meanwhile, Aditya and Jhanak meet Rudra. Aditya tells Rudra that he convinced Jhanak to attend the party, and Rudra agrees it was the right thing to do.
Brij and Shrishti notice Jhanak, and Jhanak catches sight of Anirudh. Anirudh thinks to himself, “We weren’t ready for marriage back then, but now that it’s over, why does it feel wrong? You didn’t even think about me once. How could you change so much?” Arshi and Anirudh have a brief conversation, and Muskaan, who is a big fan of Arshi, introduces herself and mentions that she also performed. Arshi acknowledges her and introduces her to Anirudh, who greets them politely.
Shrishti comments on how Jhanak is getting a lot of support from the audience, but reminds everyone that Arshi won the competition. She vows to make sure Jhanak doesn’t get another chance to participate in any future shows, and the others agree with her. Shubh mentions that Lalon has returned home and suggests that they should move to the new flat. Dadi reassures him that they know Lalon and there’s no need to be worried, insisting that he’s not a bad person.
Scene 2
The lady hosting the event announces that all the participants will receive an award. Arshi takes a seat, and Aditya encourages Jhanak to go up and accept her award. He reassures her that being the runner-up is no small feat and that anyone could see she lost on purpose. Jhanak tries to explain that she wasn’t feeling well, which is why she didn’t win. Aditya, however, insists she talk to her Guruji, but Jhanak refuses the award, saying she doesn’t deserve it since she lost in the finals.
Rudra gently reminds Jhanak that she can’t disrespect the organizers by refusing the award. Jhanak, however, remains firm, expressing her disappointment in herself for losing. Aditya suggests that she’s being stubborn, pointing out that Arshi had to travel from Kolkata, while Jhanak is already there. Rudra tries to get Jhanak to move on and come with him to talk to Anirudh.
Scene 3
Bipasha mentions that Lalon and Appu were together on the night in question, and Dadi defends Lalon, saying he saved Appu’s life. Lal, however, is suspicious, pointing out that Lalon comes from a different background and that Appu belongs to a wealthy family. Choton intervenes, scolding Lal and clarifying that Lalon had proposed to Appu for marriage, and nothing inappropriate happened.
The lady hosting the event invites Shrishti and Brijbhushan to present the gifts and awards to the participants. Muskaan and Pratiksha come forward to receive their gifts. When Jhanak’s name is called, she receives a trophy and a gift, thanking the man who presents it to her.
Anirudh, watching from afar, grows suspicious of Jhanak spending time with Aditya, wondering if they’re more than just friends. He asks Rudra if Aditya intends to marry Jhanak since they seem to be together all the time, even going shopping. Rudra assures him that they’re just friends and that Aditya is a well-known superstar. Anirudh, however, is still uneasy and mentions that Aditya has a tarnished reputation. Rudra defends Jhanak, saying she’s not after fame or fortune and that she knows how to handle herself despite being alone without family. He insists that Aditya’s presence in her life could actually make things easier for her.
Anirudh worries about Jhanak, especially since he’s keeping certain things about her father from her, but Rudra believes Jhanak is capable of making her own decisions. He also mentions that Brij is the real threat and vows to expose him, so Jhanak knows the truth. Anirudh suggests Rudra tell Jhanak to focus on becoming independent, but Rudra believes Jhanak already knows what she’s doing and that Anirudh’s concerns will be addressed in time.
Scene 4
Meanwhile, Shubh gets into an argument with Bablu. Anjana, feeling inadequate, says Tanuja is more educated and has a better life, so she’s fine with it. Bablu, however, feels guilty, thinking that Anjana doesn’t get the respect she deserves because of him.
As the event continues, a man assures Jhanak that her achievement is significant, and they’ll work together in the future. Jhanak thanks him, saying his words mean a lot to her. The lady then calls Arshi to the stage, who receives a trophy to loud applause. Arshi proudly declares, “Everyone knows Jhanak is a loser, and I’m the winner, so just relax.” Shrishti nods in agreement.
The lady then introduces the CEO and producer of the show, inviting the mentors to join them. She asks where Rudra is, and soon, Rudra and Anirudh enter together. Jhanak, noticing them together, wonders what they were discussing and why Rudra seems so happy today. She reflects on how this party is celebrating his wife’s success, reminding herself that her marriage to Anirudh was just a facade.
