Jhanak 18th Sept 2024 Written Episode: Anirudh’s Concern for Jhanak Intensifies
The episode starts with Aditya telling Anirudh about Jhanak’s health condition. He reveals that Jhanak has a large tumor in her stomach. Aditya explains that he has informed Anirudh and doesn’t want to discuss it further. Anirudh asks if the surgery is serious. Aditya confirms that it is and says Jhanak just wanted him to pass on the information. He tells Anirudh not to lie to Arshi about it and ends the call.
Arshi, curious, asks what happened. Anirudh tells her that Aditya called to inform him that Jhanak has a tumor, not a pregnancy. Arshi then questions why Aditya called Anirudh. Anirudh tells her that he plans to go to Mumbai. Arshi gets upset and says, “If you go, I won’t be here when you return.” He insists he has to go, but she warns him that if he leaves, their relationship is over. Despite her warning, Anirudh leaves, and Arshi shouts in frustration.
Arshi then calls Shrishti, and Shrishti asks if everything is okay. Arshi explains the situation, telling Shrishti that Anirudh left his phone behind. Shrishti advises Arshi to give him an ultimatum: if he goes to meet Jhanak, he will have to face the consequences. Vinayak overhears the conversation and asks about Jhanak being in the hospital. Shrishti tells him to go to bed, as she will handle it. He insists that Jhanak’s life is more important than their issues. She responds by reminding him that Jhanak was carrying Aditya’s child. Vinayak tells her not to create stories, but Shrishti argues back.
Vinayak then calls Anirudh, but Arshi picks up. She explains that Anirudh is planning to go to Mumbai, and she’s tired of the situation. She says they need to make a decision about their future. Vinayak agrees and says he also wants clarity. Arshi says it’s too late for that, as they should have resolved things earlier. Shrishti tells Arshi to come home and tries to comfort her. Shrishti then calls Guru ji, asking for details about Jhanak’s whereabouts.
The next morning, Aditya talks to Jhanak before her operation, wishing her good luck. Jhanak asks if Aditya spoke to Anirudh. He confirms that he did but isn’t sure if Anirudh will visit. He feels that Anirudh might come, but Jhanak disagrees, saying he won’t upset his wife for her. Aditya mentions how shocked Anirudh was about the surgery but says he didn’t commit to visiting. Jhanak, feeling disheartened, tells Aditya that she no longer cares about Anirudh. She regrets believing Anirudh was a good person and says it’s over between them.
Meanwhile, Lalon is happy that his business is doing well, thanks to Appu. Jhimli notices that Appu looks tired, and Lalon says she should rest. He smiles, feeling lucky to have her. Appu wakes up and asks Lalon to return in the afternoon, saying she’ll miss him. He tells her that he has a lot of work to do.
Back at the hospital, Aditya tries to cheer up Jhanak. She confesses that she’s not afraid of dying, knowing her condition is critical. She says she just wanted to say goodbye in case they don’t meet again. Appu, feeling upset with Lalon, goes to freshen up. Anuradha brings food for Appu and Lalon. Lalon says he already ate, but Anuradha insists on feeding him by hand. Appu laughs, teasing him, and Anuradha jokes that she’s also Appu’s mother, feeding her as well.
Aditya then tells Jhanak that she’s being selfish. Jhanak responds by saying that he can call her that if he wants, but she values Anirudh. Aditya questions how she can love someone who doesn’t love or respect her. Jhanak says she considers Aditya a friend, and it’s time to leave. Aditya agrees and tells her that he has ordered a bouquet for her, confident that she will recover and live a normal life again. His words bring a smile to Jhanak’s face.
