Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein Written Update 3rd September 2024: Rajendra’s Shocking Decision
The episode begins with Rajendra scolding Rajat for his rude and unfair behavior towards Sai. Rajendra expresses his disappointment, saying he expected Rajat to improve after gaining custody of Sai, but he’s still acting like Arsh and Ashika, who only see Sai as a way to win. Rajat dismisses their concerns and walks away, saying they are making a big deal out of a small issue. Savi then confides in Bhagyashree, sharing her worries about Sai, who is traumatized after her father’s harsh treatment. Sai has been hiding under the bed, blaming herself and thinking she’s a bad girl. Bhagyashree tries to downplay the situation, saying it’s normal for parents to scold their children, and accuses Savi of making Rajat look worse than he is. Savi argues that Sai isn’t a normal child and has witnessed her parents’ fights and separation. She insists that Rajat should be more careful and expresses her deep concern for Sai. Bhagyashree attempts to defend Rajat again, but Rajendra steps in, asserting his authority as the head of the family and promising to resolve the issue.
As Rajat drives away, he reflects on Arsh’s taunts and Rajendra’s confrontation. He stops his car and, seeing a father and daughter enjoying ice cream, remembers Sai’s love for him and Arsh’s claim about Sai’s paternity. He feels trapped, unsure of how to tell his parents that Sai isn’t their biological granddaughter, fearing it would break their hearts. Just then, a man knocks on his car window, asking him to move as he’s causing a traffic jam. Rajat drives off, lost in thought.
Later that night, Bhagyashree grows anxious when Rajat hasn’t returned home and prays for his safety. Rajendra asks the family if everyone has had dinner. Bhagyashree mentions that Rajat hasn’t eaten yet, and Rajendra declares that no one will help Rajat with anything until he realizes his mistake. Bhagyashree agrees, though reluctantly. After Rajendra leaves, Tara blames Savi for disrupting the family’s peace and suggests they stay quiet for a while to avoid Rajendra’s anger. Bhagyashree, however, decides to do something about it.
Rajat returns home late at night and is relieved to find the house quiet. He feels hungry but finds no food on the dining table or in the fridge. After drinking some water, he heads to his room, only to find Savi and Sai sleeping on his bed. Annoyed, he lies down on the couch, muttering that he won’t forgive Savi. Savi, pretending to sleep, thinks to herself that she will make sure Rajat is punished for his behavior.
The next morning, Rajat comes out of the bathroom to find only yesterday’s clothes available to wear. He sees notes with “#MissionBoycottRajat” posted all over his bedroom and becomes furious at his family for trying to punish him. He goes downstairs, still wearing his old clothes. Bhagyashree feels sorry for him and considers ironing a shirt for him.
Rajat sits down for breakfast, but the family ignores him. He asks the maid for coffee, but Rajendra instructs her to bring tea instead, which she does. Savi offers Rajat a coffee mug, but when he looks inside, it’s empty with another “#MissionBoycottRajat” message. Tara informs him that their father has started the boycott as part of Savi’s plan. Rajat angrily asks Bhagyashree if she agrees with this, but before she can answer, she receives a phone call and leaves. Rajat storms out of the house, while Savi feels that he deserves this punishment for his behavior.
Savi then goes to Sai’s room with breakfast and finds her hiding again. She notices a black star on Sai’s hand, and Sai explains that she drew it because she thinks she’s a bad girl. Savi reassures her, saying she’s a good girl and deserves a golden star instead. Sai says she doesn’t want to go to school because her classmates bully her. Savi places a golden star hairband on Sai’s head and promises that no one will bully her today. She teaches Sai a mantra to overcome fear and takes her to school. Meanwhile, during a staff meeting, Rajat is lost in thought. The staff notices he’s wearing yesterday’s clothes and makes jokes about it. Hearing this, Rajat snaps and yells at them, leaving Aman wondering what’s wrong with him.
Savi tells the maid that she will give soaked almonds to Sai, hoping it will help her return to normal. Bhagyashree offers laddoos to Rajendra, but he refuses, saying he doesn’t eat anything after dinner. He accuses Bhagyashree of trying to soften him up for Rajat’s sake, but reminds her that Sai is upset because of Rajat’s actions. Bhagyashree admits that Rajendra is right, but she can’t bear to see her son go hungry, even if a father can punish his son. Rajendra responds that he’s only trying to make Rajat realize his mistake, but Bhagyashree doesn’t seem to want him to change. Rajat enters, pretending to be on the phone with Aman, talking about enjoying Chinese food. He ignores his parents and heads to his room. Bhagyashree is heartbroken, knowing that Rajat doesn’t even like Chinese food but pretended to enjoy it just to spite Rajendra. Rajendra dismisses it as an act. Savi, observing Rajat’s behavior, wonders what kind of person he is, thinking he needs to be taught a lesson for not respecting her father at all.
