Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein Written Episode Update 18th August 2024: Ashika’s Life-Altering Moment
Rajat and Savi are still teasing each other. Savi asks Rajat for help to clean her back and hands him some water. Rajat nervously sprinkles water on her back but is too shy to fix her blouse lace. Just then, his staff enters to get his signature on a file. Rajat agrees to sign and tells Savi that his staff member, Nishi, will help her. Savi argues a bit, but Rajat leaves, asking Nishi to assist her. Nishi explains that Rajat was hesitant to fix the lace because he’s a gentleman. Their playful banter continues. Meanwhile, Ashika’s car breaks down, and she is upset with the driver. She calls a cab to get to her destination.
The dance performance by Rajat and Savi is announced, and both are hesitant to dance together. Their families persuade them, and they finally dance to the song “Zor Ka Jhatka Hai Dheere Se Laga.” Both families join in, making it a lively celebration.
Aman and Mrunmayee drink some spiked juice. Aman holds Mrunmayee’s hand, wanting to talk, but she is upset and can’t find her bracelet. They search under the table, and Aman eventually finds it. He tells her that he bought the bracelet with love and assures her he would never share their private video. Mrunmayee is torn between her feelings and doubts about him. Aman asks her to come back to him and promises never to show his face again if she believes he leaked their video. Mrunmayee, emotional, says she loves him too. Lucky, seeing them together again, becomes angry and plans to do something to separate them for good.
Ashika arrives at Savi’s pre-wedding venue but finds that the families have already left. She asks a worker if the event is still going on, but he tells her it’s finished. She decides to go to Savi’s house and bumps into Bhagyashree, who is heavily intoxicated. Bhagyashree insults Ashika, questioning her character and greed, and almost reveals Savi’s name as Rajat’s bride. Rajendra rushes in to silence her and takes her away. Shantanu arrives and asks Ashika what she is doing there. Ashika explains she brought a gift for Savi and criticizes the girl Rajat is marrying. Bhagyashree laughs loudly at her.
Shantanu takes Ashika home and informs Savi about her visit. Ashika gives Savi a precious necklace as a gift. Savi realizes it’s an attempt to bribe her but accepts it to avoid any suspicion. Ashika asks if she won’t get any sweets, and Savi goes to get some. Ashika sees a “World’s Best Mom” mug from Sai and realizes Sai’s gift was for Savi, not her. Savi returns with sweets, and Ashika decides to leave, now convinced that Rajat is marrying Savi. She goes to the Thakkar house and knocks on the door. Bhagyashree answers, and Ashika asks who Rajat is marrying. Bhagyashree laughs and says she won’t reveal the name, but will enjoy watching Ashika suffer. Ashika asks if Rajat is marrying Savi, and Bhagyashree confirms, adding that she will humiliate Ashika at the wedding and will bring Sai home. Ashika is left stunned.
