Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 19th August 2024 Episode Written Update: Wedding Secrets Revealed
Shantanu notices Isha packing Savi’s things and tells her to rest since she has a headache. Isha replies that Savi will need her things when she leaves after the wedding. Shantanu had forgotten about that. Isha mentions how Savi loves books and how their bond grew through them. She packs Savi’s books, plants, and trophies, but when she comes across Ishaan’s box, she becomes emotional and decides not to send it with Savi. Shantanu suggests they let Savi decide. He adds that they’ve always tried to hide their feelings about their son, but Savi has never hidden hers. Isha then breaks down in tears, missing Ishaan.
Later, Isha and Harini move Savi’s things to the Thakkar house. Bhagyashree and Tara, who are drunk, make fun of Isha and the stuff she brought. Bhagyashree picks up some of Savi’s pencils, books, and mistakenly grabs glue, thinking it’s toothpaste. Isha tries to take it back, but their hands get stuck together. Harini points out it’s glue and helps separate them before their skin sticks together. While trying to free themselves, they accidentally hurt their foreheads. Bhagyashree blames Isha for messing up her face and claims Isha sent Savi’s things because she has a bigger flat. Isha agrees, sarcastically saying Bhagyashree is right, and adds that she will send Savi’s clothes and other items soon. She then taunts that while Bhagyashree might have a double flat, she doesn’t have a double brain. Isha warns Bhagyashree to arrive at the wedding venue on time instead of wasting the night and being late. Bhagyashree and Tara think Isha was complimenting them and calling them wealthy.
Meanwhile, Ashika comes home, furious after hearing from Bhagyashree that Rajat is marrying Savi. She feels betrayed by Savi. She drags Asha out of Sai’s room, scolding her for taking Sai to Savi’s house. Asha explains that she regularly sends Sai there and didn’t think it would be a problem, especially since Sai insisted on going. Ashika yells that she’s Sai’s mother, not Savi. Arsh comments that this was bound to happen due to Ashika’s carelessness and sends Asha away. He then takes Ashika to their room and asks why she’s upset. Ashika reveals that Savi and Rajat are getting married the next day. Arsh is shocked and says it can’t be true. Ashika accuses Savi and Rajat of plotting their wedding behind their backs. Arsh decides he can’t let the marriage happen and says he must act now. He’s sure that once Savi learns Rajat’s secret, she will call off the wedding.
Mrunmayee brings a videographer to Shantanu and Isha’s home to record their thoughts about Savi. The videographer asks Shantanu to relax and share his feelings. Shantanu, feeling they’re getting late for the wedding, hesitates, but Mrunmayee encourages him to say something nice about Savi. Isha, noticing Shantanu’s forehead injury, asks how it happened. Isha says it’s a “gift” from someone and gets emotional, saying their daughter is leaving their home today. Mrunmayee adds that Savi will be leaving them today. Shantanu then emotionally talks about how Savi has taken care of them for the past seven years, just as they’ve cared for her. He feels like he’s losing a part of his life. Isha reassures him, saying their daughter is only moving to the next flat, so there’s no need to be worried. Shantanu, however, expresses the sadness parents feel when their children leave to start their own lives.
Savi then joins them and gently reminds them that even though children leave home, they never leave their parents’ hearts. She says her parents are her first family, and Sai will be part of their extended family. She promises to stay close by, just a call away. Savi even offers to choose her mother’s sari and blouse and make coffee for her father whenever he needs it. She asks if she should make some coffee now, and Shantanu agrees. The three of them share an emotional hug. Isha then says they should not cry today but instead enjoy their daughter’s wedding.
The Thakkars get ready for the wedding. Bhagyashree tries to cover her forehead injury with a mangteeka (forehead ornament). Rajendra asks Riddhi to check if the groom is ready so they don’t get late. Meanwhile, Mrunmayee and Harini help Savi get dressed. Isha and Shantanu become emotional, and Mrunmayee suggests they leave the room so they can bring Savi out. Milind then arrives and asks Harini to eat something first. Harini, feeling nervous and overwhelmed with tasks, says she can’t as she has a lot to finish and leaves the room. Milind, getting emotional, reflects on how his little sister has grown up and is now getting married. Savi assures him that no matter where she goes, she will always be his little sister. Milind encourages her, saying she’s starting a new life, and as her brother, he’ll always be there to support her.
