Bhim and Ramji are standing face to face when an officer arrives and questions what happening. A representative of the king explains that this is a legal place to seek justice. He praises Bhim system, saying it prevents conflicts and shows why the king gave Bhim such a status. Bhim then asks his father why he doesn’t want him to go to Barudha. Ramji responds by pointing out the people who have been waiting since the previous evening, showing how much they love Bhim and worry about him living alone in the city. He explains that families should live together, and if Bhim feels pressured, they will talk to the king, who would understand their concerns. If the British are pressuring the king, they will fight again, and Bhim might win if he stays. Ramji assures Bhim they aren’t stopping him, but if he goes to London to study, they will miss him but won’t hinder his progress. Ramji says Barudha is like Bombay, and they are pleading with Bhim not to leave.
Bhim sees everyone crying and holding hands. He tells his father that he doesn’t want to just ask for tea; he wants to earn enough to provide for them. He doesn’t want to live a limited life and wants to achieve great things. He recalls when Ramji held him as a baby and said he would bring a brighter future, which requires enduring hardship. Bhim requests not to be stopped from striving for this future and assures he will return soon. He says if they stop him, he will feel suffocated and unable to achieve his goals. He asks them to let him leave and not prevent him from shining. Rama supports Bhim, urging everyone to give him permission to go. Bhim says it’s not about winning or losing; he just needs to leave. Ramji, crying, picks up a stick and says Bhim is his reason for living. He fears if Bhim leaves, he might not see him again. Bhim hugs his father tightly, and everyone, including Bhim supporters, starts crying. Ramji expresses his worry that this might be their last meeting, and Rama also cries. Bhim continues hugging his father.
That night, Bhim packs his belongings while Rama watches him emotionally. He hugs her tightly, and she starts crying.
In the morning, everyone in the chawl gathers as Bhim walks out with his trunk. He looks at everyone, and Jija Bai comments that Bhim is finally leaving, causing his enemies to smile. Bhim walks towards the buggy, places his trunk inside, and returns to greet everyone. He tells them they will always be his people, no matter what they feel about him. He bows to them, and even Shishupal cries, though Jija Bai and Bhim enemies smile. Bhim asks the driver to leave but is stopped by Rama, who makes him swear to always fight for their cause. Bhim promises that wherever he goes, he will fight for their rights. He says he will come back soon. The people cry as Bhim leaves in the buggy, looking back at Rama and the others. The buggy departs, and Rama and the others cry while Bhim enemies smile.
