Do Dooni Pyaar 21st September 2024 Written Episode Update: Ritu Uncovers Akshay’s Truth
The episode starts with Ritu asking Neha not to do her aarti (a welcoming ritual). Ritu says she wants to talk to her mother first. Akshay asks her to come inside for the sake of his love. Neha does the aarti and welcomes them. Akshay introduces himself by saying his name. Ritu is shocked.
At the same time, Lalita wonders why Ritu hasn’t come home yet. She decides to call her. Her son asks for food, and she says she will bring it. Lalita calls Ritu.
Ritu asks Akshay if he is a doctor. Akshay says no, he is a social worker. Meanwhile, Ritika brings dogs to scare Ganga. Ganga, however, tries to make friends with the dogs. Ritika sets the dogs loose, sending them toward Ganga. Ganga prays to Tulsi maiyya (a goddess) for help. Just then, Abhay arrives and saves Ganga from the dogs.
Ritika asks Abhay why he saved Ganga like a hero. She says it was a good chance to get rid of her. Abhay says he doesn’t want the dogs to touch Ganga, as they are more valuable than her. Ritika angrily reminds him that his family forced him to marry Ganga, and she will never forgive them for that. She tells him to take strict action, or Ganga might come inside the house. Abhay says he won’t let that happen, as he can’t live with an illiterate girl. Then he leaves.
Back with Ritu, she is upset and asks Akshay how he could lie to her about being a doctor. She feels betrayed. Akshay tells her not to cry and explains that he wanted to tell her the truth. He reminds her that she asked him for marriage, so there’s no need to fight now. Ritu asks about his qualifications, like if he is an engineer or has an MBA. Akshay says he doesn’t want to lie anymore and admits that he failed his 10th grade. Ritu is shocked.
Ritu imagines Ganga introducing Dr. Abhay as her husband, which makes her cry. She tells Akshay she wants to go to her mother. Akshay hugs her and promises to take her tomorrow. Neha tries to comfort Ritu, who is worried about what to tell her mother. Ritu says Akshay looks exactly like Abhay. Neha is confused and tells Ritu to go rest. Akshay agrees, saying they should all rest.
Neha gets a call and says she has a ticket for Vaishno Devi. She goes outside to get it. Ritu suddenly asks Akshay if his name could be Abhay Kashyap. He says no, his name is Akshay Kumar, but he jokes that he will change his name if she wants. Ritu starts feeling dizzy, and Akshay helps her. Meanwhile, Lalita is still worried and tries calling Ritu again. Akshay goes off to take a phone call, and Ritu decides to run away. Akshay notices and chases after her.
Neha comes back with the ticket and sees Ritu, who lies to her. Neha suggests they change their clothes. Ritu goes inside.
Later, Kalyani and the others notice neighbors arriving and seeing Ganga in the lawn. Ritika asks what they should do. Kalyani tells her not to act like her mother and tells Dadi that they will explain everything about the forced marriage. Ritika worries that this will ruin their reputation. But Kalyani says that those who stand with the truth have nothing to fear. She asks Chetan to take Ganga inside. Ganga sees the ladies and rushes off, leaving Kalyani wondering what she is up to.
