Disha was reportedly offered Rs 65 crore to join Bigg Boss 18! This was rumored to be the show’s biggest salary. She declined the offer, shocking everyone.
Despite much speculation, she and the show never confirmed this. Bigg Boss had previously approached Disha.
Disha has been in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah since its beginning. Fans adored the show because of Daya Ben’s witty and charming persona. She departed the series in 2017 to focus on family and hasn’t returned.
Asit Modi, the show’s creator, told SCREEN that viewers always want Daya Ben back. “We will bring back the character of Daya Bhabhi,” he agreed. Many think the show has changed since she left. Agree. Our team hopes to reunite her soon.”
He also said they’d investigated other choices, but Disha may return.
