Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua Written Episode Update 17th August 2024: Deepika’s Brave Act
Chirag asks Deepika why she thinks he doesn’t deserve to marry her. Deepika explains that she feels he wants to marry her out of pity and doesn’t want him to ruin his life because of her. Chirag insists that his feelings are genuine and that he sees her as his true love. He wants to spend his life with her and warns her not to think of his love as pity. Deepika responds that marriage involves not just two people, but two families. She points out that his mother dislikes her, and she doesn’t want to cause any problems. Chirag believes they can convince his mother, but Deepika still refuses to marry him. Chirag expresses his deep love for her and his certainty about marrying her. Deepika asks him to reconsider his decision.
As Chirag follows Deepika, urging her to rethink, Birju arrives and throws flowers at her. Birju then misbehaves with Deepika, and she reacts strongly. Chirag warns Birju to leave, but Birju attacks him and tries to drag Deepika away. Chirag kicks Birju, and a fight breaks out. Birju attempts to stab Chirag, but Deepika grabs the knife, saving Chirag but injuring her own hand. Chirag then brutally beats Birju, and the police arrive and arrest him.
Chirag is worried about Deepika’s injury. He takes her to the hospital, tends to her wound, and gives her care instructions for a speedy recovery. Deepika feels responsible for the attack, but Chirag reassures her that it’s not her fault and that he would have been in serious trouble without her. She places her hand on his mouth to stop him from saying anything more. As she is about to leave, Lavanya arrives, panicked at the sight of Deepika. Lavanya harshly criticizes Deepika, insults her father, and tells her to leave. Deepika confronts Lavanya about blaming her father and tells Chirag that their dreams may not always come true. She leaves, and Lavanya questions Chirag about what Deepika said. Chirag tries to calm Lavanya down.
Back home, Deepika hides her injury from Yashwant. Yashwant asks if she spoke to Chirag, noting that he is a good person. Deepika agrees but mentions that his mother doesn’t like her. Yashwant believes Lavanya will eventually calm down and advises Deepika not to make a final decision too quickly. Deepika asks for more time. Shobha interrupts, curious about their conversation. Yashwant silences her and takes Deepika away. Jahnvi comments that Yashwant seems to be protecting Deepika, while Shobha tells Jahnvi to focus on her own marriage. Jahnvi, looking at Chirag’s picture, agrees.
Chirag visits the hospital café, pondering how to resolve the misunderstanding between Deepika and Lavanya. His colleague congratulates him on his engagement to Ms. Rajasthan, but Chirag clarifies that it is his younger brother Prithvi who is marrying Ms. Rajasthan. Meanwhile, Birju calls Manorama, threatening to expose her unless she gets him out of jail. Manorama agrees to bail him out but warns that he should not ask for more money. Lavanya then calls the inspector, who informs her about Chirag’s attack by Birju. Lavanya asks if there was anyone else present during the attack, and the constable mentions a dark-skinned woman was with Chirag. Lavanya reacts with concern.
