Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua Written Episode Update 16th August 2024: Chirag’s Proposal Rejected by Deepika
Yashwant tells Deepika that Chirag has asked to marry her and left the decision to them. Deepika replies that he should have turned down the proposal because she thinks Chirag only feels sorry for her. Yashwant insists that Chirag truly loves her and is as special as she is. Deepika remembers how Chirag helped the poor and says Chirag deserves someone better than her, especially since Lavanya will never accept her. Yashwant says that maybe God has chosen them for each other and suggests she meet Chirag at least once.
Chirag is nervous because he knows Lavanya is already upset with Payal and fears she will be angry with him too if she finds out he wants to marry Deepika. Yashwant then shares one more thing with Deepika. He hesitates, closing his eyes before revealing that Chirag has a medical condition that prevents him from becoming a father. When Yashwant opens his eyes, he sees Deepika comforting a crying baby nearby and thinks it’s a sign from God that she is meant to be a mother, like Yashoda Maiya.
Chirag tells his family that he is ready to get married, and they are happy to hear it. Lavanya says she will find the most beautiful girl for Chirag, but he surprises them by saying he has already chosen someone and promised to marry her. He also mentions his plan to move to the USA after the wedding, which upsets Lavanya even more, and she walks away.
Later that evening, Yashwant insists that Deepika meet Chirag the next day. Shobha, as usual, makes a comment about Deepika. Yashwant confidently challenges Shobha, saying that God has chosen the perfect match for Deepika, and she will be shocked soon. Manorama thinks Yashwant might be losing it, but Jahnvi notices that he seems sure of what he’s saying.
The next day, Deepika meets Chirag and nervously says her father told her he wanted to talk to her. Chirag thanks her for coming and asks if Yashwant told her everything. Deepika says yes, and Chirag tells her he wants to marry her. She becomes more nervous, but Chirag apologizes if he made her uncomfortable. Deepika says she didn’t feel bad, but she came to say no. She thinks Chirag is a good man and that many girls would wish for a partner like him. Chirag asks if she truly believes she can’t be happy with him, and she insists that this marriage cannot happen.
