The episode begins with Lavanya humiliating Deepika for meeting Chirag and visiting an upscale nursing home, where wealthy people like Lavanya go. Lavanya uses her usual harsh and insulting language. Yashwant, Deepika’s father, gets angry and warns Lavanya not to speak badly about his daughter. However, Lavanya doesn’t stop and even insults Yashwant with her foul language. Deepika stands up for her father and warns Lavanya not to disrespect him, but Lavanya continues her tirade. Meanwhile, Shobha tells Manorama that Jahnvi’s wedding might be canceled because of Deepika. Jahnvi complains to Lavanya that Deepika always seems to be jealous of her happiness. Lavanya then threatens Deepika, saying she will make sure Deepika stays away from her family and Chirag, even going so far as to call Deepika an “insect” rather than a human.
Prithvi brings gifts for Jahnvi and asks Chirag to take a look at them. Chirag admits he doesn’t know much about gifts and suggests giving Jahnvi the bills so she can exchange them if she wants. Prithvi decides to show the gifts to Saloni instead. Later, Deepika calls Chirag and asks why he wants to marry her when his mother is against it. She tells him how Lavanya came to her and insulted both her and her father. Deepika says she can handle insults towards herself but can’t tolerate anyone disrespecting her father. Chirag then speaks to Yashwant, apologizes for Lavanya’s behavior, and explains his plan. Yashwant asks Deepika to agree to whatever Chirag suggests, praising Chirag’s good nature.
Lavanya, worried about Payal’s curse that she will get a daughter-in-law like Deepika, talks to Chirag and warns him not to go against her wishes. However, Chirag secretly plans to do something that will shock Lavanya. Meanwhile, Shobha is busy making arrangements for Jahnvi’s birthday celebration. Jahnvi expresses her fear that Deepika might be planning something big, perhaps even revealing that Chirag is her fiancé. Shobha reassures her that this can’t be true, as they have already confirmed it with Birju.
Chirag returns home with gifts, but when Prithvi and Saloni ask to see them, he refuses. Neelima asks them not to bother Chirag, but Lavanya hears their conversation and demands to see the bag. Chirag cleverly avoids showing it to her. Lavanya insists that Chirag attend Jahnvi’s birthday party, and although he initially says he has important work, Lavanya convinces him to come. Chirag secretly plans to surprise both Lavanya and Jahnvi at the party.
