Chirag questions Deepika about why she is caught up in the lies of her mother and sister. Deepika calmly tells Chirag that she accepts them as her mother and sister, regardless of their actions.
Yash, learning from Pandit Ji that Deepika has spent all her money helping an old woman, decides to call a saree dealer. He insists Deepika choose a saree, even though she hesitates. Her father urges her to buy it, but Janvi warns him not to rush. She worries that if the boy rejects Deepika, the money will be wasted. Yash gets upset with Janvi for speaking out against Deepika, but Sobha supports Janvi and starts arguing with Yash. When Yash raises his hand to slap Sobha, he stops himself. Sobha, angry, curses Deepika, saying she won’t be happy after marriage.
Meanwhile, Chirag can’t stop thinking about Deepika. Yash notices Deepika talking to a photo of her late mother. She tells her father that she wants to keep the photo with her. Yash feels guilty, admitting he hasn’t done enough for her and regrets not stopping Sobha from cursing her. Deepika reassures him that she’s not hurt by her mother’s words.
An old man thanks Chirag for helping his wife and gives him sweets, asking him to share them with his family. Chirag then gets a call from Lavanya, who asks him to join them for lunch because Janvi, Sobha, and her nani are coming to discuss the marriage. She asks for his help since Payal isn’t around. Chirag thinks his mother could have stopped Payal from leaving but didn’t, and he agrees to join them.
Manorama talks to Sobha, expressing how Yash always upsets her daughter. She questions why Sobha cursed Deepika in front of him. Sobha explains that she sees Deepika as an obstacle to Janvi’s happiness and doesn’t want to see her happy in her marriage. Manorama reassures Sobha that Birju will make Deepika’s life miserable. Just then, Birju calls Manorama, saying he wants to meet Deepika before the wedding. Manorama tells him not to come, but Sobha worries that Birju will mess up their plan. Manorama assures her that everything will be fine, but Birju is determined to meet Deepika.
Chirag, feeling conflicted, goes into a room and sees a photo frame of himself and Janvi. In a fit of anger, he breaks the frame and throws it in the trash. He calls Janvi, but Prithvi answers instead. Chirag, trying to control his anger, makes an excuse, saying he was trying to reach Prithvi but couldn’t. He then tells Prithvi that Janvi’s family is coming for lunch, which excites Prithvi because Janvi is visiting.
Chirag gets frustrated whenever he thinks about Janvi but feels calmer when he thinks of Deepika. While driving, he spots Deepika on the road and starts following her, unable to stop thinking about her.
Janvi, not wanting to go with her family, tells Sobha she doesn’t want to come. But when Sobha gets a call from Lavanya, she tells her they are on their way. Janvi finally agrees to join them. Meanwhile, Deepika is alone in the shop when Birju arrives.
