Bollywood’s power couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on September 8. They shared the joyful news with everyone shortly after. TV stars like Rubina Dilaik, Gauahar Khan, Sunil Grover, and others sent their warmest wishes to the couple.
Deepika and Ranveer made the announcement in a joint post, saying, “Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024. Deepika & Ranveer.” As soon as they shared the news, several TV stars congratulated them. Sunil Grover from The Kapil Sharma Show commented, “Badhai ho!!! Best!!!!!!!” with heart emojis.
Rubina Dilaik, a mother of twins, wrote, “Blessings and love,” along with a heart emoji. Gauahar Khan, who has a 1-year-old son, Zeeshan, welcomed Deepika and Ranveer to parenthood, saying, “Too good! God bless, and so it begins. Welcome to parenthood.”
Karanvir Bohra, a father of three girls, shared, “God bless you guys…. This is beautiful…. #girlpower.” Other stars like Adaa Khan, Karisma Tanna, Surbhi Jyoti, and Rashami Desai also sent congratulatory messages. Karan Singh Grover, who worked with Deepika, posted, “Mamma and papa! Welcome to the club!! Woooohoooooooo!!!! Congratulations!!!”
Interestingly, most of the TV stars who congratulated the couple are already parents themselves, so Deepika and Ranveer can certainly get some tips from them. Back in February 2024, Deepika and Ranveer first announced their pregnancy with a cute post that hinted at the arrival in September, featuring baby clothes, balloons, and shoes. Throughout her pregnancy, Deepika stayed active and attended various social events.
On September 7, the couple visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak temple to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings ahead of their baby’s arrival. Deepika looked radiant in a green saree as she walked hand-in-hand with Ranveer, both barefoot.
