Bhagya Lakshmi Written Episode Update – 9th September 2024: Balwinder’s Secret Out
The episode starts with Balwinder, angry and vengeful, talking to himself about how he has ruined many girls’ lives but claims that Lakshmi has ruined his. He blames her for ending up in a mental asylum and vows to kill both Lakshmi and Rishi. He says that for seven years, he forgot his goal, but now he will take his revenge. He hits his head against the wall, and the guard asks him to stop.
Meanwhile, Ayush sees some kids and asks what they are doing. Rishi joins in and says they are watching Ganapati Bappa. One of the kids, Paro, asks why they don’t have a big Ganapati idol. Rishi explains that big idols come during Ganesh Chaturthi. Ayush adds that they always bring Ganapati Bappa home. The kids, excited, offer to help with the arrangements, and Rishi agrees to bring Bappa home. Lakshmi arrives, and Rishi tells her the kids want them to bring Bappa this year.
At the hospital, a doctor arrives and scolds the guards for locking Balwinder in a dark room. She orders them to move him to another room, but Balwinder apologizes and pretends to behave. Back at the house, Aanchal happily shares that Neelam wants to bring Bappa to the house in a grand way, which makes everyone happy. Lakshmi smiles as she watches Paro bond with the family, reflecting on how much she has always wanted a family of her own.
Balwinder, plotting his escape, plans to cut the window bars and run away during the Ganapati procession. He thinks the police won’t catch him, as they haven’t for seven years.
The kids insist they want to help bring Ganapati Bappa home. Anushka says girls don’t usually go to bring Bappa, but Dadi quickly corrects her, saying girls can go too. She tells Paro to be careful. Lakshmi suggests getting the idol from their old idol maker, which everyone agrees with. Paro insists on going, even though it’s far away. After they eat, Rishi prepares to leave with the kids, and Lakshmi bids them goodbye. Ayush offers to go with them, saying he has a surprise for Rishi and the kids. Dadi praises Lakshmi for bringing back the joyful and carefree side of Ayush.
Meanwhile, the guards check on Balwinder’s room. He hides, and as soon as they leave, he starts breaking the iron rods to escape.
Rohan, Paro, and Rishi step outside. Rishi tells them to wait while he brings the tempo. Lakshmi comes out, and Paro jokingly says Lakshmi wants to tell them not to cause mischief and take care. Lakshmi agrees, telling them to be careful and not to trouble Rishi. Ayush arrives with the truck, and everyone is excited. Rishi tells Lakshmi to inform the family that Bappa will arrive tomorrow. He then shares that it made him happy to see her with the kids, as it felt like their family was complete. Lakshmi agrees, smiling. Before leaving, she reminds Rishi to take care of himself and Paro, who isn’t feeling well. Rishi promises to take care of “their children.”
Back at the asylum, Balwinder is almost caught trying to escape, but the guards catch him and lock him back in the dark room. Furious, Balwinder vows that no one knows what he’s capable of, and he won’t stop until he gets his revenge on Lakshmi and Rishi.
Lakshmi enters Neelam’s room and accidentally knocks over a photo frame. It’s a picture of Virender with Neelam and Rishi, and seeing it makes Lakshmi emotional. She puts the frame back just as Neelam steps out of the bathroom, and Lakshmi quietly leaves.
In the next scene, Lakshmi wonders why she didn’t speak to Neelam about Bau ji. Just then, Rishi calls her, and Lakshmi playfully asks if he misses her. Rishi, joking, says yes. He then gives the phone to Paro and Rohan, who promise to show Lakshmi Bappa through a video call. Rohan shows the Ganapati idol, saying its face is covered but beautiful. Lakshmi asks if they’ve offered prayers on her behalf, and Paro assures her they did. Lakshmi asks when they’ll be home, and they tell her they’ll return tomorrow.
Later, Dadi looks for a novel and asks Lakshmi for help. Lakshmi finds it and reads the title: First Love. Dadi jokes, saying that Lakshmi must be surprised that she reads love stories at her age. She explains that love brings happiness, and when you find love, even big problems seem small. She encourages Lakshmi to find love inside her and be happy. Dadi adds that love for children like Rohan and Paro is one kind, but there’s also another love with hopes and dreams. She hints that Rishi is a good life partner and prays that Lakshmi starts a new chapter in life with Bappa’s blessings.
At the asylum, the doctor scolds the guards for locking Balwinder in a dark room, insisting that he’s not a criminal. The guards believe he’s faking his illness to avoid punishment. The doctor orders the door opened, but they discover that Balwinder has escaped, leaving the wall broken. The doctor is shocked.
Back at the house, Aanchal is preparing for Ganesh Chaturthi, and the pandit arrives to oversee the arrangements. Dadi asks if anyone has heard from Rishi, and Karishma says he’s on his way. Just then, Dadi slips on a carpet, but Lakshmi catches her. Karishma scolds the servant for leaving the carpet on the floor, but Lakshmi intervenes, saying it’s a festival and no one should be scolded. Dadi agrees, praising Lakshmi for her kindness, while Karishma looks annoyed.
Meanwhile, the doctor from the asylum calls Malishka’s phone. Karishma answers and pretends to be Malishka, tricking the doctor into revealing that Balwinder has escaped. Karishma is thrilled, thinking that Balwinder is coming for Lakshmi, not Malishka.
