Bhagya Lakshmi Written Episode Update 10th August 2024: Lakshmi and Paro Receive Dadi Blessings
The episode starts with Lakshmi and Paro arriving at Rishi house. Lakshmi remembers Promila warning her that if she doesn’t go to Rishi house, she could lose custody of Paro. She also recalls the schemes against Paro and vows that if anything happens to her daughter, she will show her fierce side. As Lakshmi is about to step into Oberoi Mansion, Karishma comments that bad things will happen now that the “unlucky” Lakshmi is entering. Just then, Ayush rushes to Rishi, excitedly telling him that their international clients have finally cleared a long-pending payment, and the money has been credited to Rishi account. Rishi agrees, saying their good times have returned. Lakshmi looks up at the Oberoi Mansion.
Avinash approaches Rishi with more good news—they’ve won a long-running land case, which means they can now expand their hotel. Dadi and Ayush are thrilled. Lakshmi remembers leaving the house earlier and imagines herself walking out again.
Anushka points out to Karishma that despite her earlier claim that Lakshmi is unlucky, only good things have been happening. Karishma insists that these good things must have happened before Lakshmi arrived. Dadi is happy and thanks God for bringing Lakshmi and happiness back into their home. As she prepares to light a traditional lamp, she remembers that it hasn’t stayed lit for years but still keeps it because Veeru brought it. As Dadi lights another lamp and prays, the long-unlit lamp suddenly ignites on its own, just as Lakshmi is about to enter, surprising both Dadi and Neelam. Dadi tells Neelam that Lakshmi luck has returned to their house. Neelam turns to see Lakshmi and Paro at the doorstep.
Meanwhile, Rano instructs Shalu to put things away. Shalu, munching on chips, complains she hungry. Rano, suddenly sweet, asks Shalu to cook something for her. Shalu, puzzled by Rano change in behavior, asks why she acting differently. Rano, snapping back to her usual self, warns Shalu not to talk back and says she was only being nice for Paro sake. Shalu teases her, saying her love vanished along with Paro. Rano retorts, accusing Shalu of acting like a busybody. Shalu insists she just looking out for Lakshmi, especially after Rano tried to force her to marry Balwinder. Rano dismisses her, telling her to go with Lakshmi and Paro.
Back at the mansion, everyone notices Lakshmi’s arrival. Neelam asks Paro to come to her, but Dadi stops Paro, explaining to Neelam that the sudden lighting of the lamp is a sign of good luck. She tells Paro to stand with her mother, Lakshmi.
Malishka is busy with her makeup when Anushka enters and tells her that Lakshmi has arrived. Malishka, looking confident, says she’s ready. Karishma asks what Malishka is doing, but Dadi says that since Paro is a symbol of Lakshmi (goddess of wealth and fortune), they should properly welcome them with a traditional ceremony. Paro agrees and goes to stand with Lakshmi. Neelam insists that Lakshmi is only here as Paro mother, not as their daughter-in-law. Dadi counters, saying that Lakshmi wouldn’t be Paro mother if she wasn’t Rishi wife. Karishma and Aanchal wonder how they can stop this, but Dadi reminds them that Ayush and Rohan have already prepared for the welcome.
Shalu teases Rano, saying she was only being nice to get rid of her. Rano admits she’s worried about Lakshmi staying with the Oberois, as they only care about Paro and not Lakshmi. She describes Rishi as fickle and says Lakshmi doesn’t trust him. Shalu, sensing Rano’s true concern, hugs her, touched by her hidden kindness.
Malishka, speaking to Anushka, explains that her change in appearance is out of necessity. She declares that she can’t stand Lakshmi and plans to get rid of her. Malishka insists that Lakshmi doesn’t belong in her house and needs to go back to her aunt’s place. Meanwhile, a servant prepares for the welcoming ceremony, and Dadi asks Rishi to stand with Lakshmi. Neelam, clearly upset, moves aside. Karishma questions Dadi, but Dadi reminds everyone that the court has ordered them to treat Lakshmi as Rishi wife, or they risk going to jail. Ayush jokes that if Dadi gets angry, she’ll complain to the judge. Rishi finally goes and takes Paro’s hand, while Neelam is visibly displeased.
Shalu and Rano share an emotional moment, with Shalu realizing that Rano tough exterior hides a caring heart. Rano admits she wanted Lakshmi to win the case and is worried about how she’ll manage with Malishka and Neelam around. She recalls the media calling Lakshmi victory “historic” but still doesn’t trust the Oberois. Dadi performs a welcoming ritual for Rishi, Lakshmi, and Paro, marking their entry into the house. Lakshmi steps into the red dye, leaving her footprints as she enters, symbolizing the return of good fortune. Everyone is happy, except for Neelam, Malishka, and their supporters.
