Bhagya Lakshmi 24th August 2024 Written Episode: Lakshmi’s Worst Nightmare
The episode begins with Rano telling Lakshmi that the man she encountered was rude. She then asks Lakshmi to come along. Lakshmi mentions that the man’s bag felt heavy, almost like there was a gun inside. Rano dismisses her concern, reminding her that they’re at a place with tight security, and questions how anyone could sneak in something like that. She then asks Lakshmi if she’s embarrassed that Rano wants to meet the Chief Minister (CM). Lakshmi reassures Rano and urges her to come along. Meanwhile, Sandeep Mishra arrives at the hotel, and the terrorists take an elevator, hiding their guns in the ceiling. When the elevator stops, one of the terrorists asks Sandeep Mishra if everything is okay, and Sandeep confirms that it is.
Elsewhere, Karishma asks Dadi not to dwell on the past, but Dadi admits she misses Virender deeply. Karishma also expresses how much she misses Virender, and Dadi agrees, saying that as his mother, she’ll miss him until the day she dies. She never thought she would miss him this way. Aanchal asks Neelam what’s bothering her, and Neelam reveals that she never wanted to marry Virender but did so because her father insisted. She says they were never a good couple, and Virender made a mistake she could never forgive. Despite his efforts, once someone is out of her heart, they can’t come back in. However, after Virender fell into a coma, she realized that she loved him and wanted him in her life. Dadi reflects on how everything fell apart, including Virender. Neelam cuts her off, saying she doesn’t want to talk about him anymore, and Dadi agrees.
The CM tells her assistant that she’s ready with her speech when there’s a knock at the door. The assistant and another man point their guns as they open the door, but it’s just Lakshmi and Rano. The assistant leaves, and the CM talks to Lakshmi, explaining that her assistant cares for her like a son. Meanwhile, the terrorists discuss their plan to shoot the CM as soon as the elevator doors open, planning to kill many people. The CM confides in Lakshmi that she hasn’t told her assistant the full extent of the threat she received, which described her being shot multiple times and her body being burned. The terrorists, meanwhile, are determined to close down the hotel by the end of the day. The CM then asks Lakshmi why she’s there, and Lakshmi explains that her aunt, Rano, wants to meet her. Rano, eager to take a selfie with the CM, also inquires if the CM needs someone for a women’s organization but quickly backs out, not wanting to risk her life. She then takes a selfie with the CM.
Rishi announces that everyone should gather on the terrace for the CM to hoist the flag. The CM’s assistant checks the area and assures her it’s safe. The CM confidently says that with Ojhas by her side, she’s secure. The terrorists stop one elevator and place a coin in the door to jam it. They prepare their guns, hidden in the ceiling, ready to attack as soon as the CM approaches the elevator.
While walking, the CM twists her ankle, and Ojhas gives her a chair to rest. Lakshmi checks her foot and asks if she’s ready for her speech. The CM confirms, and Lakshmi helps ease the pain in her foot. The CM thanks Lakshmi for her help. Meanwhile, Tobby, another terrorist, calls his accomplices in the elevator, warning them that civilians are near the CM, and they should wait for the right moment to shoot. However, the terrorists in the elevator can’t hear him due to poor network reception and end the call, unsure of what he said. Sandeep Mishra notices the coin stuck in the elevator door and realizes the attackers are inside. He tries to call Ojhas, urging him to save the CM and warning him about the terrorists. Ojhas is shocked and tells his colleague that they need to stop the CM from getting near the elevator, as the terrorists are waiting there. The colleague responds that the CM is already there, and the terrorists are poised to shoot as soon as the elevator doors open.
