Atal 22nd August 2024 Written Episode: Atal Faces Opposition from Manipulated Locals
The episode begins with Tomar informing a British officer that the locals are planning to support Atal again in opposing the British government. The officer responds by saying he will teach Atal a lesson the next day. The following morning, the British officer and Tomar bring a man whom Atal had promised to help and start beating him brutally. Tomar warns the locals that this is what happens when they rely on Atal for help. Atal, confused, asks who the man is. The officer reveals that the man is Krishna Bihari Vajpayee. Alarmed, Shyamlal and Atal rush toward the man.
The officer stops them and removes the blanket from the man’s face. The man then reveals that he received his compensation just the day before. Atal asks why they are still beating him. The man explains that the officer had promised to get him compensation soon, but he didn’t trust the officer and instead believed Atal.
Atal realizes that this is a trick by the British to deceive and weaken them, but he assures everyone that they will not give up. The officer then asks the locals if they still want compensation, and they all agree.
Back at home, Atal prays to God for help in succeeding with his mission. Sushila tries to stop him, but KM intervenes, asking why she is so concerned. Sushila argues that Atal is wasting his time, but KM tells her it’s not her business and that Atal should be left to pray. Saraswati sarcastically comments that God isn’t going to listen to Atal, to which KM responds that God listens to everyone, just like He listens to her. Their argument continues…
