Anushka Sharma, who welcomed her son Akaay in February this year in London, is currently living in the United Kingdom with her family. Recently, her son Akaay celebrated his first Raksha Bandhan with his sister, Vamika, on August 19. A sweet moment from their celebration caught everyone’s attention on social media.
Anushka shared a picture from their Raksha Bandhan celebration on Instagram. In her Instagram story, you can see two car-shaped rakhis, woven and tied with strings on the sides. The rakhis are decorated with black and white buttons and googly eyes. One rakhi is green, while the other is orange. Anushka captioned the story with “Happy Raksha Bandhan” and added two pink heart emojis.

Anushka often shares moments from her children Akaay and Vamika’s daily lives on Instagram. On August 8, she posted a picture of her kids enjoying popsicles. The photo shows two bowls—one filled with colorful popsicles and the other with cucumbers and carrots. You can also see Akaay’s tiny hand in the picture.
Back in 2012, during her appearance on Simi Garewal’s show “India’s Most Desirable,” Anushka talked about how important marriage is to her. She shared that being married and having children is very important to her. The “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” star also mentioned that she probably wouldn’t “want to work” after getting married.
