Anupama 5th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Toshu’s Power Play – Takes Charge of Shah House
The episode begins with Megha admitting that she has done wrong by her daughter Priya and feels guilty for betraying her. She says she didn’t even search for Priya and doesn’t deserve to be called a mother. Anupama encourages them to try finding Priya and suggests that Megha can consider Aadhya like another daughter, even becoming her aunt (Maasi), but not her mother because Anupama is her mother. She thanks Megha and the others for keeping Aadhya safe. Megha breaks down in tears and apologizes to Anupama for her actions. Anupama tells her that no apology is needed between mothers. They hug. Anupama hands over Priya’s photo to Megha and promises they will search for her. Anuj assures Megha that she can meet Aadhya whenever she wants. Megha thanks them both.
Meanwhile, Baa asks Titu to call Vanraj, but Titu says Vanraj’s phone isn’t reachable. Baa then tells him to call Vanraj’s office. Toshu, frustrated, shouts that Vanraj has run away with crores of rupees and won’t come back. Aadhya tells Babu ji she will go with him. Babu ji and Bala hear Toshu shouting and Bala advises Babu ji to go check. Toshu continues yelling, saying their father committed fraud and ran away, causing problems for them. Kinjal scolds Toshu, reminding him not to speak like this to Baa, especially about their father. Toshu rants about how Vanraj always talked about family but still ran away, leaving them behind. Baa, unable to believe it, says her heart doesn’t agree that her son could deceive anyone. Toshu insists that Vanraj had told them about only half of the money and hid the rest. He angrily declares that Vanraj has escaped, leaving them behind.
Just then, Anupama arrives and gently pats Toshu’s head. Babu ji comes and sits with Baa, who starts crying. Anupama says she is back now, and despite her stitches, her hand is still strong. Toshu complains that she doesn’t realize Vanraj ran off with crores. Anupama asks who Toshu thinks he is to be so angry with Vanraj. She says it’s okay if Baa or others are angry, but Toshu has no right to judge, especially since he himself committed fraud in the past. Toshu apologizes, but says when kids make mistakes, parents often wish they hadn’t had children. He bitterly says he wishes he wasn’t born an orphan. Anupama scolds him, telling him to ask real orphans how they feel. Toshu, frustrated, says he doesn’t want to hear her and continues complaining about Vanraj’s shady deal with a builder, declaring himself the new head of the family.
Meanwhile, at the ashram, everyone hears Toshu’s outburst. Sagar comments on how tough it must be for Anupama. Aadhya says all her children are causing trouble, and now her mom will be stressed. Baa, worried, tells Anupama that she fears Vanraj might be in danger. Anupama reassures Baa, telling her that she must stay strong and handle the household since Toshu cannot. Anupama encourages Baa, saying that this is a test she cannot fail. She reminds Baa to take her medicine and asks Babu ji to stay with her. Anupama tells everyone to stay united and says she is with them.
Aadhya asks when Anupama will rest since she just got out of the hospital. Anuj reassures her that Anupama will be fine. Anupama arrives, and Aadhya hugs her. Anupama prays to Kanha ji to protect everyone, admitting that she doesn’t trust Vanraj.
Later, Babu ji comforts Baa, who wonders why she can’t have both her son and husband in her life. Babu ji replies that some people don’t have either. He prays that everything about Vanraj’s actions is a lie. Baa says they’ll only know the truth when Vanraj returns, but they’re suffering in the meantime. Anuj brings Anupama her medicines and asks if she’s worried. Anupama confesses that she never thought Vanraj would do something like this. Anuj says that despite their differences, he always thought Vanraj was a good son who took care of Baa and Babu ji. He reflects on how sudden wealth can change people and believes Vanraj may not return the same person but could even come back with the police. He warns that this could bring destruction to the Shah house.
Ansh, confused, tells Toshu that his Dadu is the best and wonders why people are speaking badly about him. Toshu harshly tells Ansh that his Dadu was a bad man who ran away. Ansh insists that his Dadu isn’t bad, while Mahi defends their father. Toshu threatens to send the kids to a hostel. Kinjal, furious, tells Toshu that’s enough. Dimpy worries about how they’ll handle personal expenses and wonders if they’ll lose the penthouse. She also suggests they might need to go live at an enemy’s ashram. Kinjal is shocked, but Dimpy tells her to focus on bigger problems. Toshu claims he’ll manage everything.
Anuj takes care of Anupama, while Aadhya notices their matching Radha and Krishna lockets. Meanwhile, Titu is in the kitchen, getting something for Baa. Dimpy approaches him, but Titu predicts that she’s come to ask about Ansh’s share and why he didn’t speak up when Toshu took charge. Titu says he doesn’t want anything but won’t let anything wrong happen to anyone.
Aadhya takes photos of Anupama’s cooking stall for social media. Anupama steps outside, saying she’ll help by peeling peas. Anuj tries to stop her, but Aadhya excitedly shares that Sagar has offered to teach her and that she’s looking forward to going to school.
