Anupama 4th September 2024 Written Episode: Anupama’s Desperate Bid to Make Megha Understand Her
The episode begins with Anupama talking to Babu ji, asking him to think about what she’s saying. She mentions that she has already spoken to Baa. Indra adds that if they can stay together, there’s no reason to stay apart. Bala agrees, saying it’s better to enjoy love up close rather than from a distance. Sagar points out that just like Anuj and Anupama reunited on Janmasthami, now it’s Baa and Babu ji’s turn. Anupama lights a diya in front of God, thanking him for making things right. She’s happy to have Aadhya and Anuj with her and prays for Baa and Babu ji to come together. She sings a bhajan and performs aarti with Anuj and Aadhya.
Kinjal talks to Baa, saying that Anupama isn’t wrong. Titu, Toshu, Meenu, and others try to convince Baa too, but Baa walks away. They all hope Baa and Babu ji will reunite. Pakhi says Baa can meet Babu ji, but Meenu and Titu shouldn’t go to Asha Bhavan.
Anupama then says she wants to visit Megha. Aadhya gets worried and asks her not to go. Anupama insists she needs to, and Anuj suggests they both go as her parents. Meanwhile, Ansh asks Toshu when Dadu will come, mentioning that Pari, Mahi, and Ishu are bothering him. Baa, concerned, asks when Vanraj will arrive. Toshu assures her that Vanraj can come at any time and then announces that Vanraj Shah is back. Suddenly, two men with guards show up, asking for Vanraj Shah. Toshu asks why they need to know. The men point guns at Vanraj, accusing him of taking their money for a project and then disappearing. They claim Vanraj has cheated many people and run away. Everyone is shocked and tries to reason with the men. Toshu assures them that once Vanraj returns, he will repay their money. The men throw out their belongings and warn them to call Vanraj, or next time they’ll break their bones. Baa defends Vanraj, calling him a tiger who will deal with them. Kinjal tries to calm Baa down. The men reveal that Vanraj has committed fraud worth crores. Pakhi and Toshu remember Vanraj’s words about living life his way, using his money as he pleases. Toshu reflects that Vanraj is a master at fraud.
Anuj and Anupama then visit Viren and Megha’s house. Viren is nervous, asking them not to call the police. Anuj reassures him that if they had called the police, Megha would already be in jail. Anupama explains that as a mother, she just wants to talk to another mother. Viren shares Megha’s guilt about Priya’s disappearance. He tells them how Megha found Aadhya at a child care center and, because she resembled Priya, brought her to Ahmedabad, believing she was her daughter. Megha became obsessed with Aadhya, trying to make her like Priya and not letting her out of her sight. Anupama explains that Megha’s love turned into stubbornness, and they sympathize with their situation. She suspects Megha is in Priya’s room.
Back at home, Baa asks someone to call Vanraj. Titu tries but finds his phone unreachable. Dimpy advises Baa not to worry, or her blood pressure will rise. Toshu tries calling Vanraj, anxious for him to answer. At Megha’s house, Anupama enters Priya’s room and asks Megha to come out of the darkness, saying it’s time to bring the truth to light. Megha accuses Anupama of taking Priya from her and ruining her life. Viren worries that Megha might harm herself, but Anuj reassures him. Megha pleads with Anupama to leave, threatening to harm herself if she doesn’t. She breaks down, clinging to Anupama and crying, asking for Priya back. Anupama gently tells her that Aadhya is her daughter now, not Priya. Megha refuses to accept this, insisting that Aadhya is her Priya. Anupama firmly repeats that Aadhya is her daughter, not Priya.
Anupama’s words hit Megha hard, making her realize that her love for Priya had turned into something selfish. Anupama reminds Megha that she lost her own son, Samar, and understands the pain of losing a child. She explains that it’s wrong to force someone else’s child to stay with her, urging Megha to see that Aadhya was never happy living with them. Megha finally admits that Aadhya wasn’t happy. Anupama tells her that what she did wasn’t motherly love but greed and selfishness. She criticizes Megha for stopping her search for Priya, saying she preferred having a lookalike over finding her real daughter.
In the end, Anupama’s harsh but truthful words help Megha realize her mistakes.
