Anupama 31st August 2024 Written Episode: Anupama’s Life in Danger
The episode begins with a shocking moment as Megha stabs Anupama in the stomach, leaving everyone horrified. Aadhya screams, “Mummy!” and Anuj shouts, “Anu!” Everyone is worried about Anupama. Anuj holds her and asks, “What happened to you?” Anupama looks at Anuj and Aadhya, smiles, and then closes her eyes. Viren arrives and grabs Megha. Anuj urgently tells everyone to call an ambulance. Toshu says the ambulance will take time, so Anuj shouts for them to take the car instead. He lifts Anupama and starts walking, determined to save her, saying he won’t let anything happen to her.
Megha, in her distress, calls out to Aadhya, saying that Priya is leaving her and begs Viren to bring Priya back, accusing Anupama of taking her away. Viren shouts at Megha, telling her to stop. He admits he did everything she asked, even bringing Aadhya home as Priya because he thought she couldn’t bear the pain of losing Priya. But now, he realizes she’s not a mother, but a criminal. He says that if she were truly a mother, she wouldn’t try to kill her daughter. He praises Anupama, saying she took the stab to save her daughter, and warns Megha that she’ll lose him too if anything happens to Anupama.
In the car, Aadhya pleads with Anupama to open her eyes, saying she needs her and wants to love her more than she ever hated her. Toshu urges Anupama to keep her eyes open. Anuj also tells her that he needs her, checking her breathing anxiously. Toshu drives the car quickly, saying they’ll reach the hospital soon. Meanwhile, Baa and Babu Ji are in an auto, crying. Baa curses the woman who stabbed Anupama, saying she’ll never be happy.
At the Ashram, Bala tries to reassure everyone, saying that Kanha Ji will make everything fine. But Babu Ji angrily shouts, saying that if Kanha Ji were truly there, he wouldn’t have let anything happen to Anupama. He laments that his daughter is being tested and says that if anything happens to her, he will never take God’s name again.
Anuj, Toshu, and Aadhya rush Anupama to the hospital. The doctor says it’s a police case and orders the nurse to prepare the operating theater. He asks them to complete the legal formalities. Sagar arrives and, seeing Anupama’s condition, calls out, “Anudi.” Anuj prays silently, hoping Anupama will come back to them safely.
Everyone is anxious and in tears, worried about Anupama. Kinjal, Titu, Pakhi, and others cry, while Indra remembers how Anupama once saved her and breaks down. After the operation, the doctor comes out and tells Anuj that Anupama is in a coma, on a ventilator, and unlikely to survive. Aadhya cries out in denial, but it turns out to be Anuj’s nightmare. He prays to God to save his Anu.
Meenu calls Sagar to ask how Mami is doing. Sagar, scared, says they can’t say anything for sure yet. Meenu, worried, says that Mami is still in the operating theater, and they don’t know how long the surgery will take. Titu decides to take food for everyone, but Baa insists she will cook, though Kinjal tells her to stay with Babu Ji while she cooks instead. Pakhi angrily blames the woman who stabbed her mother and questions Meenu about the college dean’s wife. Meenu says she only saw her for the first time. Titu scolds Pakhi for her harsh words, and Pakhi apologizes to Meenu, explaining that she’s just scared for her mother. Titu reminds Pakhi that Anupama is her mother, and Pakhi admits she’s worried about her.
Babu Ji’s health worsens, and Baa becomes concerned for him. She steps away, clearly distressed.
Aadhya starts to panic, crying for Anupama. The doctor says he needs to give her an injection to calm her down. Baa pours milk on the statue of Kanha Ji, vowing to keep doing it until Anupama gets better. Dimpy tries to get Babu Ji to drink some juice, but he refuses until Anupama recovers. Meenu comments that pain brings everyone together, and Kinjal agrees, saying it’s Anupama’s love that binds them all. They all join in prayer.
Aadhya anxiously asks Anuj if anything will happen to her mother, wondering why it’s taking so long. The doctor comes out and says the surgery is still ongoing, but Anupama’s condition is weak, with heavy blood loss. He says the expert team is handling the operation, but there’s only a 1% chance of survival. Aadhya cries, remembering how she treated Anupama poorly. Baa continues to pray, joined by Meenu and Kinjal. The doctor asks Anuj to sign a consent form, and Toshu questions the doctor’s earlier statement about the 1% chance. Anuj, however, remains hopeful, saying that Anupama will turn that 1% into 100%. He trusts that she will fight and not give up, and he signs the form.
Just then, a nurse rushes in, saying the patient is sinking. Anuj is shocked, and Aadhya cries out, “No, Mummy!” Anuj insists that nothing will happen to Anupama. Toshu and Sagar are also in shock. The doctor tries to save Anupama, and Anuj pleads with her not to give up, telling her that they need her. Aadhya, Toshu, and Sagar all urge her to fight for her life. Anuj repeats his plea for her to keep fighting.
A specialist doctor arrives and rushes into the operating theater. Everyone waits anxiously, praying for Anupama. The doctor returns and says she is still breathing, but her condition is critical, and they only have 15 minutes to try to save her. He warns that the chances are still just 1%, and it will take a miracle for her to survive.
Aadhya, distraught, says she can’t live without her mother, who has always been there for her. Anuj reassures her that nothing will happen to Anupama. As Anupama continues to struggle for breath, Babu Ji arrives with Meenu. Aadhya hugs him and cries. Meenu asks where Anuj is going, but Aadhya is too upset to answer. Toshu comforts her, and Aadhya clings to him. Babu Ji, deeply worried, says he won’t survive if anything happens to Anupama. Titu encourages him to stay strong, insisting that nothing will happen to her.
