Anupama 29 Aug 2024 Written Episode: Megha Unravels Aadhya’s Mystery
The episode starts with Anupama sneaking out through the window, thinking of getting help from the police. As she is about to leave, she overhears Megha talking to Viren. Megha tells Viren that she plans to leave the city with Priya because she doesn’t want to stay there anymore. Viren points out that she just told Priya they would go to the temple, and now she’s saying they should go to the farmhouse. He tells Megha that she’s becoming suspicious of Priya’s behavior, and soon she’ll start doubting him too. He warns her that if she continues acting this way, she will lose both him and Aadhya. Megha insists that the girl is Priya, but Viren corrects her, saying that the girl is actually Aadhya, their foster daughter, and that they lost Priya a long time ago. Megha admits that losing Priya was her fault, and despite their efforts, they never found her. Viren empathizes, saying that just as they yearn for Priya, Aadhya’s real parents must be yearning for her too, and one day they may come to take her away. Megha, however, vows not to let Aadhya go. Anupama, understanding Megha’s pain, realizes that Megha is keeping Aadhya close because of her fear, but Anupama knows she has to reunite Aadhya with Anuj. She prays to Kanha ji to watch over them.
Meanwhile, Kinjal brings Meenu to the living room to meet the groom’s parents. The groom’s mother asks Meenu what she plans to do after becoming a doctor. Meenu replies that she wants to do an internship. The lady suggests she could do it at their hospital, but Meenu explains that their hospital is high-end and that ordinary people can’t afford it. She says she wants to help ordinary people and serve the country. Baa tries to explain that Meenu didn’t mean to offend, but Meenu insists that she did. The lady questions if Meenu thinks that being a doctor is just a profession for her son. Meenu clarifies that she didn’t say that, but she believes that expensive treatments aren’t accessible to everyone. The lady defends their hospital’s services, saying they provide luxury treatment and advanced equipment. Meenu stands firm, saying she wants to work for the poor. The groom’s family becomes upset, with the lady asking if Meenu would take poor people to the U.S. if their son went there. Meenu, whose parents live in the U.S., states that she has decided to stay in India to help those in need. The lady then says Meenu should follow her in-laws’ wishes. Meenu firmly declares that she doesn’t want to get married right now. Offended, the groom’s parents leave, feeling their time has been wasted.
After they leave, Toshu, Baa, Dimpy, Pakhi, and others blame Meenu for insulting them. Meenu responds that she doesn’t like any of the men they’ve chosen for her and reveals that she has feelings for someone else. Toshu asks if she is doing this for Sagar. Meenu snaps back, telling Toshu not to give advice, especially since he ran away and got married. Pakhi also mocks Meenu, but Kinjal and Titu support her.
Anupama hopes that Aadhya will bring them together so she can take action. Babu ji notices Anupama is worried and asks why. Anupama says they should go to the Radha Krishna temple like they always do.
Kinjal tries to calm Baa down, explaining that the situation is about Meenu’s life. She says that if Meenu leaves the house or does something drastic, they won’t be able to face Dolly fui. Kinjal emphasizes that they can’t afford to lose any more relationships and suggests they go to the temple and pray.
Anuj reminisces about how his father used to put a peacock feather in his hair on Janmashtami, and he says he will do the same for someone else. He places the peacock feather on a sketch. Anupama gets dressed in a beautiful brocade saree, while Aadhya also gets ready, hoping her mother will take her with her.
Anupama and Anuj arrive at the temple with the people from Asha Bhavan. The Shah family is already there. Meenu and Sagar exchange glances. Baa taunts Babu ji, saying he doesn’t know what’s happening at home and only cares about helping poor people. Sagar asks Meenu about her marriage proposal. She responds, asking why he wants to know. He apologizes, and Meenu says he should.
Toshu tries to stop Kinjal from approaching Anupama. Kinjal threatens to leave him and warns him not to act like Mummy. Dimpy takes a selfie with Titu and teases him. Bala prays to God to make a place in Indra’s heart. When Indra falls, he catches her and asks if she’s okay. Kinjal approaches Anupama, who asks if the groom’s family came to see Meenu. Kinjal brushes it off and instead asks about Anuj’s birthday. Anupama says today will be very special for him because she is going to give him the most precious gift of his life. Baa calls Kinjal, and she leaves. Anupama continues to wait for Aadhya.
Meanwhile, Megha compliments Aadhya on her beauty and asks if she’s happy. Aadhya says she loves Janmashtami and doesn’t want to miss the aarti and jhanki. She tells Megha she’ll quickly go to the washroom and be right back. Megha becomes suspicious and wonders what Aadhya is hiding.
Everyone is gathered, listening to the bhajan. Megha checks and finds a photo of Anupama, Anuj, and Aadhya together. Suddenly, everything makes sense to Megha—Aadhya is happy because of Anupama. Just then, Aadhya returns and says it’s time to go, Mamma. Megha quickly hides the photo. Meanwhile, Anupama is still waiting for Aadhya. Finally, Aadhya says, “Let’s go.”
In the precap, Anupama calls Anuj and says that today is his birthday too, just like Kanha ji’s, and she has brought a special gift for him. Anuj sees Aadhya coming towards him, and they embrace, crying together. As Anupama starts to leave, Aadhya calls out to her. Anupama turns around but suddenly faints and falls to the ground. Anuj and Aadhya shout for her in shock.
