The episode begins with Anupama worried about why her daughter, Aadhya, is at the Dean’s house and if she’s in danger since she seemed scared. Aadhya reassures her mom, saying that she knows Anupama has a lot of questions and will find the answers. Anupama tells Aadhya that she will leave for now but will come back soon, and nothing will stop her. Aadhya asks her to return quickly as she’s waiting.
Meanwhile, Megha tells the Dean they should go to the farmhouse immediately. The Dean tries to explain that they should wait until after Janmashtami, but Megha insists on leaving right away. As Anupama rushes, she bumps into a woman who angrily asks why she wasn’t looking where she was going. Anupama explains that she just found her daughter after seven months. The woman congratulates her and hugs her.
Elsewhere, Anuj is looking at Aadhya’s sketch on the wall and vows not to celebrate any festival until she returns. Anupama comes in and starts blowing bubbles, saying Choti (Aadhya) likes them. She tells Anuj that she saw Aadhya today—though from a distance—and that Aadhya seemed fine but not happy. She promises that Aadhya will be with them very soon. Anuj asks why Anupama didn’t bring Aadhya home right away, especially since she wasn’t happy.
Anupama explains that they need to be careful because Aadhya’s life could be in danger, and they might need the police’s help. Anuj becomes upset, accusing Anupama of giving him false hope and making him imagine things. Anupama tries to calm him down, asking him to trust her one last time. But Anuj refuses, saying he’s tired of getting his hopes up and that if he continues living without Aadhya, this helpless father might not survive. Anupama, determined, promises that she will bring their daughter back, even if it means begging or fighting with the Dean and his wife. She vows to bring Aadhya back as a Janmashtami gift for Anuj.
Meanwhile, at home, Meera is delighted to see the Indian Masala pancakes (uttapam) that Kinjal made and says it will make her day better. Baa is curious why Meera is so happy about the food, and Meenu says it’s because of the love Kinjal put into making it. Kinjal asks Meenu how her internship is going, and Meenu replies that it’s going well and she’s thinking of settling here. Baa mentions that they want the same and have found a doctor for her to marry. Meenu, however, says she hasn’t thought about marriage yet. Baa insists, saying the groom’s family is coming to see her, and they’ve already spoken to Dolly and Sanjay Kumar about it.
Later, kids return home and argue about who gets to break the matki (pot) for Janmashtami. Kinjal suggests they do it together. Baa, however, is more focused on preparing Meenu for the groom’s visit. Kinjal questions Baa about calling the groom’s family without asking Meenu first, and Baa responds by asking why Kinjal is so concerned. Pakhi and Toshu tease Kinjal, asking if she and Anupama had other plans for Meenu’s marriage. Baa reminds them that Vanraj had made it clear that everyone should follow his wishes regarding Meenu’s marriage.
Meanwhile, Anupama goes to the Dean’s house, but the guard tells her they’re not home. Determined, Anupama decides she needs to do something drastic to make things right and apologizes to Lord Krishna. She distracts the guard by throwing coins, then sneaks inside by opening a window.
Elsewhere, Meenu urgently calls Sagar to meet at a coffee shop. She asks if he would care if her family arranged her marriage. Sagar says it wouldn’t affect him, so Meenu tells him they won’t meet again until she’s married. Sagar is hurt and cries as she leaves.
Anupama, now inside the Dean’s house, tries to open a door and hurts her finger. She finally gets it open, finds Aadhya’s room, and calls out for her. She enters the room, sees a photo of Aadhya with Megha, and notices Aadhya’s drawing book. Realizing that Aadhya was distressed, Anupama hugs the diary, worried for her daughter.
