Anupama 22nd August 2024 Written Episode: Anupama’s New Lease on Life

The episode starts with Meenu telling Anupama that she will spread the word about her food stall, saying it will attract a crowd on the very first day. Kinjal and Meenu both wish Anupama good luck, saying they are proud of her. Vanraj, however, criticizes Anupama for setting up the stall, asking if she isn’t embarrassed. Anupama confidently replies that she isn’t ashamed at all; in fact, she feels proud. She then takes a plate and draws a swastik symbol on the stall as a sign of good luck. Meanwhile, Meenu tries to get Sagar’s attention, but he ignores her. Anupama is determined to make the stall a success, thinking of it as their hope that she won’t let break. Anuj supports her by breaking a coconut to mark a positive beginning. Baa calls everyone over, and Anuj wishes Anupama good luck, hoping that they will find their missing daughter, Aadhya, soon. Anupama agrees, believing everything will turn out well.

The next day, Anupama officially opens her food stall, asking God to bless her work. She posts about “Anu ki Rasoi” on social media, sharing the dishes available and a photo of herself, along with hashtags. She prays to Lord Krishna for guidance and begins preparing food. After making offerings to God, she thinks about giving food to Kaveri, coffee, and feeding the birds. Anuj arrives and gives her a lemon and chili charm to ward off the evil eye, asking her to hang it on the stall, which she does. Anupama also wards off bad luck from him as a song plays in the background.

Meanwhile, Vanraj is exercising in his room when he smells the food coming from Anupama’s kitchen. Baa joins him and admits that, despite their differences, Anupama is an excellent cook. Vanraj, tempted by the aroma, says he wants to eat the food. Baa offers to cook for him and leaves. Back at the stall, Anupama offers Anuj the first taste of her food, thanking him for the idea and saying everything goes well when he is with her. Anuj has her taste the food first, and then he finishes it, showing her the empty bowl.

In another part of the story, Titu wakes up, troubled by Dimpy’s words. Dimpy confronts him about a message he posted online, “Mard ko bhi dard hota hai,” and threatens to post a cryptic message about him having an affair with a neighbor. Titu sarcastically tells her to tag his name directly. Anupama mentions that they should officially inaugurate the stall before starting to sell food.

Dimpy, thinking that Titu might try to make peace by giving her flowers, throws away a bouquet she finds with him. Vanraj, confused, asks what’s going on. Dimpy accuses Titu of sending the bouquet to a woman named Nandita from Asha Bhavan, insinuating an affair. Pakhi adds to the drama, saying they saw Titu and Nandita together. Titu denies the accusations, explaining that the bouquet was meant for Anupama as a gesture of respect, with the intention of sending it through Meenu and Kinjal. Meenu confirms his story. Titu explains that he respects Vanraj and was only sending flowers to support Anupama’s stall inauguration. Vanraj then forbids anyone from sending flowers to Anupama. Pakhi, however, suggests that while Titu may not send flowers to Nandita, Meenu might send them to Sagar. Baa questions if Anupama is oblivious to what’s happening.

After the inauguration, Anupama invites the people from Asha Bhavan to enjoy the food, calling them her true investors. Bala asks what they’ve invested, and Anupama explains that they’ve given her hope, support, and courage. Babu ji insists they won’t eat for free, saying they should think of her as a proper business. Bala agrees to have breakfast as a customer. Sagar advises Anupama to keep her personal and professional lives separate, and Anupama agrees, handing them the menu to choose from.

Elsewhere, Aadhya sees Anupama’s tiffin on the dining table. Megha asks her husband to take it with him, and he says he’ll give it to his niece. Aadhya insists that tiffins should never be returned empty, to which Megha agrees. Aadhya fills the tiffin with chocolates and adds a note inside. Megha stops her and tells her to add more chocolates, which Aadhya does before handing the tiffin to the Principal.

In the end, Anupama declares that she will serve homemade food to those who need it, saying that where there is no mother, there is Anupama.
