Amar Upadhyay Addresses Ram Kapoor’s Career Change
After playing Mihir Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Amar Upadhyay transitioned from TV to film at the height of his career, making headlines. Ram Kapoor recently remarked that Amar’s film debut was premature and unsuccessful.
Amar stated his opinion on Ram’s remarks in Telly Talk. He says criticism doesn’t affect him. I don’t care about myself and my stories, but someone told me. Simply put, I don’t care what others think. His response: I disregard negativity and podcasts that criticize me.
Positive thinking and hard work were Amar’s mantra. Television, regional films, and web series are his career, and many of his generation have retired. Television gave him stability and a job.
The actor also highlighted his recent Gujarati film success and his next TV show. He talked about work-life balance, family, and international travel with his kids.
Amar calmly stated that he is happy with his job and chooses to see the future above others’ opinions. “Kuch Toh Log Kahenge… Logon Ka Kaam Hai Kehna,” he said. Be grounded, discard negativity, and go on with gratitude, says Amar.
