Advocate Anjali Awasthi Written Episode Update 8th August 2024: A New Chapter Unfolds for Anjali
Anjali Busy Morning
Anjali mother is busy in the kitchen, preparing food. From the bathroom, Anjali calls out, asking her mom to bring her pants since she running late for court. Her mother, checking the grocery bag, comments on how Anjali always forgets her clothes and worries that they’ve been buying groceries on credit. She says that even the shopkeeper might stop giving them groceries on credit soon. Anjali reassures her, saying that she getting a new client today and is hopeful to earn some money.
Meanwhile, Anjali father is ironing her dress. He hands it to Anjali and gently asks his wife why she always scolding their daughter. The mother replies that Anjali is grown up now, and they should start thinking about her marriage. The father firmly tells her not to mention marriage in their house, as he wants Anjali to become a successful lawyer. Anjali steps out of the bathroom, dressed and ready, and praises her dad for his progressive thinking. She assures them that their situation will improve once she starts getting more cases.
Pooja Preparations at the Rajput House
Over at the Rajput house, preparations for a pooja are underway. A man asks his wife, Nivedita, about the whereabouts of the other family members. She explains where everyone is and then goes to prepare the aarti thali. He then inquires about Padma, and Nivedita mentions that Padma has gone to deliver prasad to Kavya.
Meanwhile, Anjali rushes out of her house, eager to meet her new client. Her mother insists she has breakfast first, but Anjali declines, worried that she’ll lose her client if she’s late. On her way out, some friends from her neighborhood approach her with a case—a kidnapping. Anjali, confident in her legal skills, asks who was kidnapped. To her surprise, they say it’s their goat. She scolds them for bringing such a trivial case. Just then, her umbrella falls, and as she bends to pick it up, she notices her scooter has a flat tire. Frustrated, she asks someone to help push it.
Yuvraj Misbehavior
Yuvraj is partying with his friends at a club near a swimming pool. He gets drunk, ignoring his friends’ warnings that his father might scold him for drinking too much. Padma, nervously holding a box of prasad, walks in. Yuvraj spots her and, despite his friends’ attempts to stop him, decides to flirt with her. He introduces himself and tries to get her to join the party. Padma, scared, tries to avoid him.
Back at the Rajput house, the elder sister-in-law calls Padma, asking why she’s taking so long to deliver the prasad and to return home quickly. Meanwhile, an argument breaks out between two daughters—one wants to skip the pooja and attend a party instead. Nivedita and her husband intervene, insisting that everyone stay home for the Matarani pooja. The husband asks about the gangajal and tells someone to call their mother. The mother arrives, saying she there, but Vaibhav enters, informing them that the elder brother has decided that their mother shouldn’t attend the pooja. The family asks why, and Vaibhav wife explains that the elder brother doesn’t want any disruptions during the pooja. The mother, Kangana Singh Rajput, LLB, says that she was even stopped from attending court by the elder brother. The family then disperses.
Anjali First Case
Yuvraj, still drunk, snatches the prasad and Padma phone, insisting she party with him. His friends try to intervene, but he pushes them aside and throws Padma into the pool. Padma cries, saying she just wants to go home. One of Yuvraj friends helps her out of the water. When Yuvraj tries to stop her, she runs away. Yuvraj and his friends chase after her.
Anjali, trying to navigate her scooter through traffic, spots Padma being chased by the men. Seizing the opportunity, she decides to take on this as her first real case. She rushes to rescue Padma, who hugs her tightly, grateful for the help.
