Advocate Anjali Awasthi Written Episode Update 12th August 2024: A Turning Point in the Case
Raghav tells Anjali to drop the case, but Anjali refuses and argues with him. Raghav suggests settling the case out of court and asks her to call her client to negotiate a deal. Anjali still disagrees and insists that the case will go to court. Raghav warns Anjali that if it does, he will defend Yuvraj, urging her to be cautious. Anjali makes a remark and ends the call.
Yuvraj is furious because Padma has filed a police case against him. He angrily says he won’t let her get away with it. Ravi tries to calm him down, but Yuvraj’s friends complain about being beaten up by Advocate Anjali Awasti, which only provokes Yuvraj further. Yuvraj calls Padma and threatens her, demanding that she withdraw her police complaint, or else he will kidnap her. Padma, terrified, agrees to take back the complaint.
Ravi grabs the phone and warns Yuvraj that they’ll be in serious trouble if Padma records the call. Yuvraj, however, is determined and tells his friends to kidnap Padma and bring her to him. His friends suggest they should also do something about Anjali, and Yuvraj agrees.
Padma is shown to be very scared after Yuvraj’s call. She steps aside and calls Anjali, telling her what happened and saying she’ll withdraw the complaint. Anjali urges Padma not to give in and to stand up against the injustice. Anjali’s mother overhears the conversation and asks who Anjali is talking about. Anjali reveals it’s Yuvraj Thakur, the son of Chandraman Thakur. Anjali’s mother is shocked and insists that Anjali drop the case and get married instead. Anjali reminds her mother that she was once engaged, but Ginny betrayed her by marrying her fiancé.
Ginny calls Anjali and invites her to a party, but Anjali overhears Ginny mentioning Padma’s name, which makes her suspicious. She calls Padma to confirm if Ginny is related to her employers and finds out she’s right. Anjali then tells Ganesh and her mother that Padma works as a maid in Ginny’s husband’s family.
Anjali declares she won’t fight the case against Yuvraj, feeling discouraged and comparing herself to her father. Ganesh reminds his wife that he was once top of his class in law school, but someone ruined his career.
