Aashish Mehrotra, famous for playing Toshu in the TV show Anupamaa, was recently eliminated from the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. He lost a challenge by just 9 seconds. After his elimination, Aashish shared a heartfelt post about self-love on Instagram.
He posted a series of pictures where he is dressed in a white shirt and matching pants, posing on a beach with the song Gehraiyaan playing in the background. In his emotional caption, he wrote, “I feel like loving myself… Today, I feel like drifting away in the breeze. But water flows, so let it flow… Today, I feel like living again.”
Fans quickly flooded the comments with admiration. One fan wrote, “What a kind personality, what a beautiful soul, and what amazing acting—no words.” Another fan commented, “Killing it!!! @kedaraashish.”
After being evicted from the show, Aashish thanked Rohit Shetty and the team for the opportunity. He mentioned that Rohit Shetty played a significant role in his life, as he was a judge on India’s Next Superstars, a show Aashish won.
So far, Aditi Sharma, Krishna Shroff, and Shilpa Shinde have also been eliminated from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. However, Krishna and Shilpa later returned as wildcard contestants.
For those who might not know, Aashish Mehrotra left his role as Paritosh Shah in Anupamaa earlier this year. During his time on the show, he formed close bonds with his co-actors. After his departure, Gaurav Sharma from Diya Aur Baati Hum took over the role of Toshu in Anupamaa.
